Lisa is absolutely amazing! She was so flexible with any last minute changes and had great ideas that I hadn't even thought of. Lisa and her assistant Emily are so much fun to work with and they made taking all the pictures so easy and fun. This photographer stole our money.  She was hired and paid in full to take pictures for our wedding in March 2020.  Covid hit right before our wedding day and we were forced to alter our plans to a ceremony of just 5 of us. She was paid in full 2 days before we made the decision to change our plans. We should have just cancelled our credit card payment, but we thought we were doing her a favor because this is probably her only source of income and extended the opportunity to take pictures at our rescheduled event.  We decided at the last minute to just elope on our originally scheduled wedding day and she refused to take pictures on the day that she was originally hired and paid in full to take pictures because her insurance wouldn't cover her.  Again, rather than cancel our credit card payment, we extended the opportunity to take pictures at a later date when we hoped to reschedule our reception. Fast forward one year and we decided to not go through with a reception and requested a refund.  Our total package was $1100, $100 went towards the engagement package which was fulfilled and we received $200 of the remaining $1000 owed to us leaving $800 outstanding.  Numerous handouts and stimulus payments have been given out for a year now and if all that money has been spent to where she cannot refund what is owed to us, then a credit of 6 hours for any package at any time should have been offered.  Instead, she offered to shoot our reception which she knows we are not going to have, an elopement photography package which we are already married, or a couples photo shoot which we already have our engagement photos so why would we want more.  She could have offered a 6 hour credit to take baby pictures, family pictures, etc. but instead offered these outrageous options in exchange for the money she will not refund to us.  It would be understandable if she was a caterer that was out the food they had to buy and were then stuck with as a result of our change of plans, but she was literally out nothing.  She is a thief.  Plain and simple.  I don't know what you call it when you pay for a product or service, don't receive the product or service, and don't receive your money back.  I call it stealing.
