If you're looking for diamonds, engagement rings, or other types of fine jewelry (both estate and modern), Lippa's is a must. In shopping for our diamond and engagement ring we went to jewelers all throughout Burlington, surrounding cities, and other major cities (we live in Chicago). Mike and the Lippa's team went above and beyond to find and bring in diamonds for us to look at and different designs for our engagement ring. The diamonds were far superior than other diamonds we've looked at and the prices are excellent. Mike was attentive and responsive to all our needs, and he makes everyone feel like they are his main priority--it's a truly great shopping experience, especially for pieces of jewelry that are large investments. I can't speak highly enough about our engagement ring experience and the quality of the diamonds.

My other family members have purchased beautiful necklaces and stunning watches--Lippa's offers a wide range of jewelry and can create custom pieces as well. It's a local family business which was important to me. Highly recommend you go to Lippa's and make Lippa's your go-to jeweler.

Lippa's sized my engagement ring and wedding ring - they were family heirlooms in my husbands family and were 3 full sizes too big (I have tiny fingers). They did an excellent job sizing both rings in spite of the multi-diamond raised settings on both rings, and the sizing was not very expensive. The primary problem that we had with them was that there seemed to be poor communication among the employees - some employees believed that they would not be able to size the rings at all or would have to modify the setting in order to do so, but in each case when I spoke to the actual jeweler he told me that it would be no problem (and it wasn't). The poor communication was particularly problematic for my wedding ring - evidently the hostess never even showed the ring to the jeweler, but instead called me a few days later and said that they wouldn't be able to size it without also having my engagement ring on hand to compare the settings. I was out of town and so was not able to return to the store for several weeks. When I did return, I talked with the jeweler and he had no idea why I had been told that. He fixed my ring in under 24 hours without needing to modify the setting at all.
Overall I would highly recommend Lippa's - just make sure to talk to the actual jeweler if you need to have anything remotely tricky done!

I only write this review because I want other brides and grooms to avoid the mistakes that I made at Lippa's. I unfortunately made the mistake of buying my ring at their store. The ring's quality was not what was told to me - and I was pressured to buy the diamond without it being GIA certified (because the store's owner told me that the GIA certification process would take at least 2-3 months...which was a lie). Throughout the process, they consistently misrepresented the quality of the diamond and ring, and I only found this out after the fact. There are so many better jewelers in Burlington, VT - please seek out the others and bring them your business.
