I do not even know where to begin with Katy and her team at Lewes Lettering Co. Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in her studio to getting our final order from them. I sat with Katy, my wedding planner (A Sweet Affair, Katina Dawson) and my mom one afternoon. We went through some of her gorgeous samples and past work. We chatted about my vision and within a few days Katy had drafted up her first “draft” of our invitation suite. There was literally nothing that I could even imagine changing. It was so perfect. She took my vision and put it on paper, literally. Gorgeous paper that is! We had Katy do our Save the Dates, Entire Invitation Suite, do calligraphy on our bottles for our seating chart, dinner menus, table numbers and finally our Thank Yous. Everything was more than I could imagine. Nell was beyond helpful every time we chatted and stopped by the store. If I can suggest anything to make wedding planning a little easier, it would be working with Katy and her team. They are so sweet, kind and genuine people who just want to help you create the wedding experience of your dreams for you and your guests. I think I heard from every one of my guests saying that they were the most stunning invitations they have ever seen. My mom is even working on a project with Lewes Lettering now. Working with Katy of Lewes Lettering Co. was incredible from start to finish! Living in New York, there are a plethora of invitation and printing companies, but after landing on Katy’s Instagram page and seeing samples of her work, I knew I wanted her to design our invites.
We connected over an initial consultation call, where I shared our aesthetic goals and ideas, and she offered creative insight and an array of printing and detail options. Katy offered to send us samples and Zoom as often as we needed, but we really wanted to see everything in person, so we decided to visit Rehoboth Beach and Lewes on a weekend trip. Katy was even more wonderful in person, and took her time showing us everything in her beautiful, Instagram-worthy shop and studio. Over many months, we worked together to design not just our invitations, but day of items - cocktail napkins, menus, table numbers, and signage - and Katy was always there to manage our countless emails, answer questions, and give honest feedback if we were unsure of something. The result was an invitation that we were SO proud to send to our guests (many of whom told us it was the most beautiful invitation they had ever seen), and personal details that truly added beauty and warmth to our day. We can’t thank Katy enough for her time, energy, and work, and would recommend her ten times over to anyone looking for a wedding invitation design experience that is truly personal.

We absolutely loved working with Katy & Lewes Lettering Co. Katy made all the small details of our wedding a reality - she designed & created our menus, our table names, our place cards, and programs for our wedding. She added personal touches and suggestions every step of the way - she is also SO fast! I trusted her to make many of the final calls on font, colors, etc. and couldn't have been happier. She is extremely creative and whatever she designs for you will be stunning.

Katy was amazing!!! She worked on all details of our wedding (save the dates, invitations, thank you cards, welcome cards, and day of details!) Every detail was perfect and went together. She even helped create a design for custom matchboxes so that everything matched! She was so easy and great to work with - understood exactly what I was looking for and worked with me through all revisions (even the slightest change was quick and easy!). Katy was such a beautiful person to work with and worked tirelessly to make my vision for our ceremony/reception signs come to life. I came to her with a very specific idea of what I wanted for our craft beer bar and she made it happen beyond what I ever imagined! I also made a bunch of last minute changes, and she was completely flexible with all of them and sent us new proofs of everytime. Katy took the time to get to know what made us unique as a couple and then incorporated special touches into our stationary. Every time I saw an email from Katy with an attachment, I felt so excited because I knew something beautiful was waiting for me. She really blew us away with her talent and ability to create invitations and stationary that uniquely represented us and were beyond what we could have imagined. Katy has an innate ability to manipulate colors, art, and of course lettering in a way that makes magic. To top it all off she is the sweetest person!
