Lauren Newman Photography is a destination wedding photography service based in Pensacola, FL and Southern California. Shooting weddings throughout the Florida Panhandle and Southern California, from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles, 30A, Pensacola, and beyond. Photographer Lauren Newman uses a blend of contemporary, natural, traditional and photojournalistic photography styles to capture your unique love story and all the moments from your wedding day. Lauren Newman and her team values capturing true genuine moments that authentically represent your big day. Most would describe her style as clean, captivating, and full of life.
Experience
Lauren Newman is a wedding photographer with a BFA in visual art from Belmont University. While in college, she expanded her photography business and worked for companies like The Nashville Entrepreneurship Center and lifestyle brand Sister’s of Nature, providing gorgeous photography content and styling and assisting with photography assignments. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, blogs, and books. Her mission is to provide photographs, memories, and experiences that will stand the test of time.
Services Offered
Lauren Newman Photography has three wedding photography packages, with a la carte items available to add to any package. Packages start with six hours of coverage, and additional hours of coverage can be added to any package. All packages include edited, high-resolution images delivered on a crystal flashdrive, an online viewing gallery of images to share with friends and family, and two photographers. Lauren is the BEST!
Overall, Lauren’s work speaks for itself. What initially drew us to her work was her style. Her images do not feel overly styled or edited and we could not be happier with our photos or with the entire experience with Lauren. However, what really sets Lauren apart is her approach. She thoughtfully leads photography, guiding you through it without being bossy or having you do anything that feels inauthentic. She makes everyone feel extremely comfortable and like themselves as you take photos. Not only were we thrilled with the wedding day and our experience taking engagement photos, but our family and wedding party was blown away with how easy, fun, and comfortable working with Lauren was. Honestly, taking photos was one of the best parts of our wedding day and we highly recommend Lauren if you want beautiful photos and a fun and genuine photographer.

Lauren photographed our wedding. She is spectacular. I highly recommend hiring her. She was very organized and professional. She helped us put together a plan for photography so that everything went smoothly. She was also flexible. She is truly creative and I am very pleased with our photos! I know I will cherish them forever. Thank you Lauren. ❤️

Exactly what I wanted!
Working with Lauren was one of the highlights of my wedding. I am a creative in my professional career and definitely had a specific vision in mind for my wedding photos. I sent Lauren a detailed shot list and she was not only open to my suggestions, but perfectly delivered on my requests. Her aesthetic is timeless, bright and airy with a touch of editorial. Lauren was also so sweet in person and the entire process was seamless.

Dreamy elopement experience
We absolutely LOVE our elopement photos and working with Lauren was a dream. From the start, she was super organized, had great communication, provided detailed information about what to expect, had a plan b for weather, and helped loosen us up to be ourselves. Lauren even captured a special and memorable moment after all was done - a spontaneous first dance at an oceanside cafe. Thank you for having such a keen eye. You are so very talented - it's hard to pick a favorite - we keep gushing over the entire gallery. We plan to celebrate in Destin and hope we are blessed with your beautiful talents in the future.

A Truly Remarkable Team!
I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for my wedding! Lauren and Bryce were so kind and helpful throughout the entire day. Our photos look like they could be in a magazine, and that's saying a lot for how awkward I usually feel when having my photo taken. Lauren took extra steps to ensure she captured exactly what I wanted, so much so, that she even took notes from my pinterest boards! Their skills really shine through not just the photos you receive but the feeling you get looking at them. I highly recommend this awesome duo.

Amazing! Beyond Perfect
I am so incredibly grateful Lauren was our photographer! Her work is amazing and she has an eye for seeing the world around you in a way that is indescribable, and then she captures that magic with her photography.
She did our engagement photos and her and her husband were our wedding photographers and I couldn't be happier! If you are able to take a look at her work, it truly speaks for itself. What her collection can't tell you, though, is what a beautiful person she is to be around. She is a perfect addition to any gathering, she is kind, sweet, professional and fun.

Stellar Wedding Photographer
Lauren and Bryce are the absolute best! They are probably the most down to earth couple we’ve had the pleasure of meeting, and helped made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera…not mention, they are insanely talented! Also, Lauren was so understanding and supportive during Covid, and made the rescheduling process that less stressful. Our wedding photo’s are stunning and we cannot wait to print and hang them all. We could not recommend them enough, you will not be disappointed working with her and Bryce!

Absolutely Stunning Photos
I cannot recommend Lauren Newman enough, she has gone above and beyond for us and provided us with the most beautiful photos and memories that we have. Lauren photographed our engagement, our last minute COVID elopement, and FINALLY our wedding day this past June. My husband doesn't love photos but Lauren made every photoshoot comfortable, relaxed, fun, and guided us to look our absolute best. The portraits are stunning, the details shots are beautiful, and the candid shots are ones that bring tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have found Lauren to photograph all of our favorite moments, and our future favorites!
