Lauren provided ceremony music for my June 18, 2022 wedding and it was everything we wanted! It helped that Lauren was so organized and flexible throughout the planning process. Before the big day, we met to discuss our music selection and the order of songs. She was able to find everything we wanted for our special day. We had Lauren play at our wedding in 2018 and we couldn't have picked a better musician. She has a huge repertoire of songs and is even willing to learn new songs to make the music on your day exactly what you want. Lauren was very responsive in her communications and a joy to work with during planning and on the actual day. Having her beautiful playing for our ceremony definitely added something extra special to our day and we had many compliments about her playing from our guests. Lauren was recommended to me by a friend when I got married in 2019 and I have recommended her to at least 4 other friend who have since gotten married. Not only is she a wonderful musician, she is incredibly professional and was able to add such a special touch to my day.
She was very responsive when I first reached out to get a consultation and after telling her about what I was thinking for our music, was able to work with me to incorporate the pieces I chose as well as suggest songs she thought would fit nicely. I thought her prices were very fair for her level of service, professionalism, and especially with how beautiful her playing was.
Fair warning, harps are very large instruments and Lauren did have to let us know what her requirements were to make sure she was able to get the harp where it needed to be to hear her play. Our venue luckily had an elevator so she could get to our second floor venue, but she will let you know about that ahead of time!
Overall, I would absolutely recommend Lauren to play at your wedding. The harp music added the perfect touch of whimsy, magic, and classiness that set the tone for the whole evening.
