Hi, my name is Laura Wiegmann, owner of Laura's Eyes Photography, and I've been in business for 15 years. I love doing weddings, as I am a hopeless romantic, and still cry at many of my weddings. I believe that a good wedding photographer must have the ability to shoot traditional as well as photojournalistic style, as different parts of the wedding require different shooting technique. I also feel very strongly that weddings are events; not portrait sessions. To that end, I get the portraits you need, and then leave you to enjoy yourselves! I will be in the room, constantly observing, and shooting, mainly candids. Quite often, brides tell me that they can't believe I got so many great pictures, because they didn't even know I was there.
Although film is still available, should you want that, most shooting is done digitally, and prints can be purchased as well as small and large file discs. Pricing is conservative, and I do not offer traditional packages at all. You choose how you want to do the shoot, and then add the products that fit your needs, one by one. Although Laura's Eyes offers everything anyone else offers, you are not locked into any particular products just because they are part of the package. Pricing is lower prior to the wedding in an effort to get the discount that comes with ordering a package. Whether you want engagement photos to start off, or a small or larger wedding package, Laura's Eyes Photography would love to talk to you about meeting your wedding photography needs.
