My husband and I can't say enough good things about Laura - both as a person and as a photographer. She was the very first vendor we booked, because she had recently photographed a family friend's wedding and we loved the photos. We got married in Iowa, but live in Florida, and Laura flew here to take our engagement photos. As soon as we met her, we knew it would be a smart decision to take her recommendations when it came to hiring other vendors, building our timeline, etc. It was clear she knew what she was doing and is an absolute joy to be around, so we knew she would recommend people who bring the same energy/professionalism to the table. Laura makes everyone feel so comfortable and kept us laughing/having fun the entire day of our wedding. She also captured so, so many wonderful photos - and got us a preview of them just a couple of days afterward! Trust me, you can't go wrong with her. My husband and I cannot praise Laura enough as our wedding photographer. One look at her photos and you will know that she is extremely talented at the job she does and how she captures a couple. Her photos are beautiful. Her work is consistent and classic. Beyond that, and the part that I think is worth more than gold, is her personality. She has the ability to be commanding, while making a funny comment and connecting with each person she comes across to make them more comfortable. She was an excellent time manager the day of our wedding, and encouraged us several times to just relax and be ourselves, and she did her thing around that. That was so valuable to us as we had so much time together just the two of us, and Laura, and seriously felt like we were hanging out with our best friend. Every idea or question I threw her way from day one, she answered without hesitation and with an “let’s do it!” Attitude, never making me feel like I was bothering her with my 1 millionth question.
