Kristin was very professional to work with, and the shots were candid, lively, and reflected my daughter and her husband as a couple. Kristin captured all the important moments of the ceremony without "being in the way." She is a really good humored person and a pleasure to have around.

When choosing a photographer, we really didn't know where to start. There are so many photographers in the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area and, not knowing much about photography, didn't really know where to start. After consulting my best friend (who is in the wedding) who is a photographer she brought me to Kristen at Lanierstar Photography. She pointed out the skilled way in which she uses light to enhance the photo. After talking with my friend, it became clear that Kristen's work was far superior to the others we were looking at. So I gave her a call, and that sealed the deal! I knew right away that she was going to be a fun, happy person to work with. Her laugh is contagious and makes everyone feel at ease and comfortable. Even in the midst of a time crunch and a hectic HUGE family for formal photos, Kristen kept calm and professional.
She was also super flexible about our strange wedding schedule. We had an early morning ceremony and a late evening reception. She stayed in St. Augustine through the entire day so that she could shoot both the morning and the night celebrations.
We couldn't have been more pleased with our engagement photos which I think really captured emotion and intimacy between my husband and I. We can not wait to get our wedding photos in a couple weeks!
