I looked at so many venues in the area before I made my decision to go with Landry's. I knew that I wanted a wedding on/by the water. I also knew that I wanted my wedding food to actually taste good, and have great service. This venue was perfect for my smaller wedding. I had about 100 guests. You get to utilize two levels, so that you can have the ceremony on one level, and the reception on the other level - it allows for so much versatility with your wedding. Both levels have ceiling to floor windows, so your view is the water, boats, and the Boardwalk. There are balcony's on both levels, so guest can go outside and enjoy the breeze and view. The coordinator, Keith, was wonderful. He stayed on top of the planning, and the day of the wedding. Keith was easy to work with, and very responsive. I was never worried about anything with the venue not being perfect. The staff was so kind, and everyone was fantastic with my guests, and me and my husband. I wish that I had names of the young lady who was taking care of me and my husband at dinner, and the kitchen/food manager, they went above and beyond what most staff would have done. I cannot say enough about these wonderful people. We had a special nook for the photo booth that worked out amazing. The dance floor was a good size. The price was very reasonable for everything that I was able to do with this venue. The Boardwalk had some unique photo opportunities as well. I have a family picture on the merry go round, and an adorable picture in front of the antique police car, and also the marquee lights with our special wording. The only negative is that if your wedding is after dark, the room is a bit dark for pictures. You definitely need to consider this venue for your wedding.
