L.A. Catering was an excellent choice for my wedding! My husband and I had a very short engagement (3 months) and Stacy and the team worked so fast and efficiently with us (from logistics and linens to food). Stacy answered so many questions and helped us design an entirely vegan menu. We had gnocchi, portabella mushroom stacks, roasted carrots and potatoes, apple nachos, chips and salsa, hummus crostini, and a salad set on the tables beforehand. All of it was so delicious! The chefs even made a couple of cherry and peach cobblers as a dessert option. I didn't even get to try it because it was completely gone before I even saw it placed on the buffet table! Myself and the guests only had wonderful things to say about the staff. And Stacy even saved my husband and I appetizers and brought me Tide wipes for when I spilled a bit of food on my outfit.
Do not hesitate to reach out to LA. Catering for your event. The food was even better at our event than it was at the tasting (usually it's the other way around) and you'll be supporting an organization that helps so many individuals around Columbus!

John, Executive Caterer at L.A. Catering & Events is the most awesome caterer and event planner I've ever run into. He is on top of everything, and you need not worry about a thing. The food presentation is magnificent and looked delicious. I played my harp for the ceremony and cocktail hour and John answered all my many questions about moving in and playing, and made sure I had all the details I needed. On the wedding day, he was everywhere checking on everything in a quick, professional and pleasant manner. He was AMAZING.

We are so glad we went with L.A. Catering! Sara worked with us from start to finish and was friendly, helpful, and very flexible in working within our rather restrictive budget. Our guests all commented on how good the food was and they were excited that the money went to support such a good local cause.

We had an entirely vegetarian-friendly spread, and there were plenty of delicious options.

One piece of advice: go to their occasional (maybe twice a year) tasting events so you can try out different options. It was there that we fell in love with the lemon bars and decided to supplement our cake with some dessert trays. I still think about those lemon bars often... :)

L.A. Catering made catering portion of wedding (planned less than 3 mnths) stress free and amazing! The staff were all professional and easy to work with, but Sara Bentley was especially amazing. Sara maintained great communication throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was always helpful, accessible, and knowledgeable. Truly the day of our wedding, Sara felt like our friend! We were so impressed with how well she worked within our budget while still providing delicious food with beautiful display. The private tasting was personalized to us, menus with our names on it to the table decorated in our wedding colors/theme…those touches that make one feel special. I am a vegetarian but my husband loves meat, so Sara and the chef worked with us to have a blend of both foods which tasted amazing. We never felt rushed whether in person or on the phone with staff, and they were very responsive and was very patient with us despite our several emails, calls, and texts with our questions. Our wedding venue, who is picky about their vendors RAVED about L.A. catering’s professionalism, efficiency, and clean-up. They reported they would likely add them to their small list of recommended vendors which includes Cameron Mitchell’s, Creative Cuisine, and Made from Scratch. Two of which we were considering for our wedding. We chose L.A. over them for several reasons but two biggest were L.A.’s costumer relations and money would go to support a great organization LifeCare Alliance which assists older adults and challenged (meals on wheels etc). I mean how neat is that! My guests reported the food was SPECTACULAR. My mother texted me the next week “heard so many wonderful comments…also you had the best food by far.” We also had a great experience using their bartender as well. Overall L.A. catering went above and beyond what I would have ever expected from a caterer. They gave us our dream wedding within our budget while maintaining class and elegance.

What can I say about Sara at LA catering? Sara was fantastic! She always went above and beyond in every aspect of the day. I could count on her to always have our best interests at heart. During, the planning process she took her time with us, addressed all our questions and concerns. Sara made herself readily available. One moment that stuck out the most was when my tailor fell through and I called her and she had suggestions in my area that I could use. I used the tailor and I couldn’t have asked for better. On weekend of the wedding Sara was there for everything and made sure that everything was taken care of so we could enjoy the day! The food was delicious and the guests and our party made sure to comment about it. With Sara you get more than just a caterer; you get an allie, an expert and more importantly a friend. If you are looking for delicious food and an amazing wedding experience that you need to see Sara at LA catering because there is no better.

We had asked for mashed potatoes to be served with the gnocchi (I know it's potatoes too) but I was expecting mashed with my gnocchi because the mashed were sooo good. Sara was great with everything, very helpful and she made it a positive experience for us. All our guests LOVED the steak, I had a lot of people ask who catered.

Our wedding saw it’s fair share of changes and hiccups, the last of which brought us to LA Catering and Sara roughly 3-4 weeks before our event. Sara and her team at LA impressed my wife and I so much! Sara was able to get us a menu that her team doesn’t usually serve to make our vision come true. LA Catering delivered beyond our expectations. They were one of the pricier options, not the priciest but they also run a non-profit food service in conjunction with the catering business so the money you spend goes to a just cause. Sara truly went above and beyond with customer service. She dropped off my brother in law’s keys the following morning after he left them in the venue the night before. We would recommend LA Catering to anyone!
