Krystine Smith is a flutist and performing artist based in Roanoke, Virginia, who offers wedding music services. With a diverse performing background and a wide range of repertoire, Krystine offers a live performance tailored to your event's vision. Krystine plays over 50 different flutes and woodwind instruments, including classical flute and piccolo, bass flute, alto flute, Irish flute and whistles, baroque flute, recorder, bamboo flutes, Native American flutes, and other world flutes. She offers unaccompanied solo flute and live-looped electric flute performances. You can expect a high-quality performance featuring the music you love to support your event! If your wedding has a theme, Krystine is also happy to perform in a period-accurate or thematically appropriate costume!

Krystine has over 25 years of flute experience and has performed across the country as a soloist, former Marine musician, and ensemble member. Krystine served in the Marine Corps from 2007 to 2011 as a flutist with the Marine Corps Band New Orleans. Following her military service, Krystine studied music at the University of Miami (BM, 2017) and Saint Mary of the Woods College (MA, 2019). Krystine has performed with Winds of the Blue Ridge, Valley Chamber Orchestra, Pantasia Flute Choir, the Professional Military Flute Ensemble, and the National LGBTQIA+ Flute Ensemble. You can also find Krystine performing at Renaissance Faires and other fantasy events as Euterpea Fantasy Flute. She has two albums of original flute music available on all streaming platforms.
