I was so anxious about hiring a photographer because the pictures were the only thing that I cared about during this whole thing. Both me and my fiancé are very stiff, awkward people and that has made any pictures we take a very stressful situation for me. We inquired to meet with Kevin and he met us at our wedding venue (even though it is a pretty far drive from him) before even being hired. He talked with the venue owner and was getting ideas before we even arrived.
We asked about a negative review that we had seen and he explained, with full transparency, what happened and how he has been putting work into improving that. We decided to give him a chance and it was the best decision ever!
So far, we have only gotten our engagement shoot done as we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Our engagement shoot was INCREDIBLE. Kevin was on time, happy and ready to be there, and was such a good sport about our crazy pack of dogs. He helped us with poses, told us stories to lighten the mood and really got us to relax enough to get some great pictures. It get less like a photo shoot and more like we were hanging out with a friend.
The turn around time was so fast and the quality of work on the final product was amazing.
There is nothing I wanted more than these exact photos.
I now plan on using Kevin for work photos, family photos and any event I plan to have. I am SO EXCITED for him to shoot our wedding next year.

Kevin was absolutely amazing! We met him for a family photo session prior to our wedding and it’s was great. He is so personable and made it so comfortable taking pictures with him. Our son was a little over a year old and Kevin was so good at getting his attention for pictures. Our wedding photos were absolutely beautiful and Kevin is officially the family photographer; we’ve (husband and I) already made plans to take post quarantine photos with him. Compared to other photographers, I feel like I got a great one at a steal! Highly recommend!!

Kevin was awesome. I came here just to say that. My fiance hired him and she said he would be great- I learned to always trust her from this!
1. He was quick. He would guide everyone into position, make sure things were perfect, advised on how to make the photos good, and then snapped his photos. He got 100s of great photos and we probably only took photos for 30 minutes. He was so skilled that it never took very long so we could focus on the fun stuff and despite the speed there was no loss of quality
2. He was kind- everyone loved him. He is friendly, he is good at his job, and he a pleasure to have at the wedding.
3. He missed nothing. Every tender moment, every hug, every spontaneous dance- Kevin was there. We never had a "I wish the photographer got that" moment because he got it all. In fact every time I felt a good moment I heard to click of a camera. Despite the fact he was always there you would never know it. He blended in and was in no way overbearing.

I could not have asked for a better photographer. It was worth every penny. His pricing was fair and he was the image of professionalism, skill, and kindness. I would guarantee you cannot find better in the Colorado area. My entire wedding party (who have been to hundreds of wedding between them) said he was by far the best they have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and book this man!

I can't say enough how much I appreciated working with Kevin. I found him through Thumbtack and he responded to my needs with a quote that felt a little too good to be true. But unlike the normal adage, what I got could not be beaten. He drove two hours to meet me at the venue prior to the wedding to scope out all the right locations at no additional cost. The day of the wedding, he was early to get venue shots, was incredibly professional and helpful in putting together all the right photos and was completely understanding when we realized he got underpaid by an overworked bride the day of the wedding. I am still waiting on my finished photos, but having seen his work I know it will be perfect. I would recommend Kevin to anyone in the market for a professional photographer - you won't be disappointed.

Kevin did an absolutely amazing job shooting our wedding. He was so accommodating with our entire family. He met with us before hand and toured the venue to make sure he saw everything and that we were totally comfortable. He was very familiar with all aspects of Steamboat. Kevin is easy to work with. He gives you ideas for how to pose if you are not comfortable and is easy to talk to. He really wants his clients to be happy and is willing to put in the time to get quality pictures for your special day.

I'm hesitant if I would recommend Kevin.
He was very nice personable.
He gave us a great discount for my husband being in the military, and his photos are of good quality.
However, he overloaded his schedule and somehow lost half of our wedding photos.
You read that right. All of our first look and ceremony photographs were lost. I know this is a photographer's worst nightmare, and all he could say was I am sorry, I d6ont know what happened.
I can understand mistakes happen, but I am disappointed that I only have reception pictures of our wedding day.
