I'm Kelsey, a film photographer based in Macon, Georgia, photographing weddings and elopements across Georgia, the Carolinas, and the rest of the Southeast. My wife McKenna second shoots with me. Outside of weddings, I make long-term documentary work. My series Please, Don't Leave Me has been exhibited in New York galleries and published as a limited edition photo book. That same way of seeing carries into my wedding work. I'm drawn to the honest, in-between moments, the ones most people don't notice are happening until they see the photo.

I shoot real 35mm and medium format film, hand-scanned, with digital running alongside so the fast moments are never at risk. The result is the color and texture film is loved for, captured in a way that’s dependable for a day you can’t repeat. My approach is documentary, so I spend most of the day observing and step in only when it helps, and your photos end up looking like the day actually felt rather than a series of poses. For couples who want more, collections can also include a Super 8 film highlight reel and fine art albums.
