This Photographer is non-responsive at least half the time.
She doesn't take customer's ideas for photos.
She will waste your paid for time by needlessly trying to avoid paying for parking for a half hour before the ceremony... you will end up paying her parking despite this.
She will lie to you about sending out your photos on CD- she simply won't do it.
You will need to message her daily to see a single picture- to see ANY will take 2 months.
She doesn't understand basic photography- your photos will have stark white backgrounds, even if you make it clear how important the SUNSET is to your SUNSET CEREMONY.
She will accept the job, and your money, despite not understanding the fundamentals of photography (she needs to still be appprenticing- not charging hundreds of dollars)
Also your tan skin may blend into your white dress.
She doesn't seem to know how to edit pictures, though she says she does.
When you express your disappointment, after much waiting you will get these, direct quote responses-
"There is nothing I can do about it,"
"I'm not really sure what you're expecting me to do about your opinion. I can't make you like them"
and
"I figured your faces were more important to have clear in the photos than the sunset."
I had a qualified photographer look at the photos to let me know if there was hope in editing the sunset back into the pictures- it is not. This Professional let me know instantly that our wedding photographer lacked the basic knowledge that she needed to use a flash, which mirrors her statement that she needed to choose between a clear face OR the sunset. Had she had the required skills to take wedding photos this wouldn't have been an issue.
She will leave you without a single photo of your sunset beach ceremony- you can save money by getting married in front of a white wall.
She NEVER should have taken this job.
Result-I'm devestated.
