I bought my engagement ring and his wedding band at Kays. Although not the cheapest price in town, I liked the warranty that came with the rings and the fact that I could get them serviced/cleaned at a number of different stores throughout the nation. However, the turn around time for sizing is crazy - three to four weeks. Other stores offered same day sizing. This created a problem for me since we bought the rings while on vaction but I didn't know the time until after we'd already completed the purchase. I finished my vacation with an ugly sizer that I bought at Wal-Mart stuck to the back of my ring then had it sized at my home Kays.

I absolutely love my bridal set and the warranty that my fiance purchased. The service at Kay has gone downhill within the past few years, however. The people aren't as personable and nice anymore. I completely understand that they want to make sales, but there's a difference between wanting to make a sale and being pushy to the point of being annoying. The woman that showed us the set I wanted insisted that we buy it that day, but I told her I didn't want to be there when my fiance purchased it. She didn't accept that answer, and tried to get him to fill out credit card information. She was so annoying and persistent! When my fiance finally did go back to buy my set, he made sure to tell her that he wanted someone else to help him.
