My baby shower was 17th of Dec, I couldn't be happier with my baby shower. The event was planne and organised by Katie Rebecca event and it was more than beautiful. The items she had prepared for were exactly meeting the theme French market. We are from France so we are very surprised by how Katie Rebecca event understand the french cultures and some items. Colorful macarons, authentic canoele, palmito, hand wrapping cookies, lots of old french books, petit lu ecolier cookies and perfect flower decorations! Her creativity towards flower decorations is more than amazing. Katie understands perfectly what I dreamed about my baby shower and made me the happiest expecting mom! Thank you so much Katie and highly recommend you to work with her!

Event seemed alright until the awful aftermath

When we first met Katie she seemed nice enough and on top of it but it was all down hill from there. She seems a lot more concerned with making things look great just long enough to get a good picture for her Instagram than actually making our day special or our guests comfortable or making sure the service was good. This last one wasn't even something I'd thought about before hand. I thought you hire a planner, they handle the decorators, caterers, florists, etc, etc, and it's off your plate. I started getting complaints about her from the caterers before the end of the night and it went on for weeks after. I kept getting emails long after saying she still hadn't paid people, letting me know she'd demanded people show up early for no extra pay, telling the caterers they couldn't take water breaks (in the middle of a heatwave at an outdoor reception). I'm impressed with the professionalism of the servers for not spitting in our food, but maybe they were just too dehydrated to.
We paid Katie generously, even a few surprise fees, and she turned around and nickle and dimed everyone below her. Apparently when she found out they had complained she also tried to get the servers fired. It took weeks to sort everything out and I deeply regret hiring her.

i want to be as honest as possible in this review. katie coordinated our wedding, and that was fine. the MAIN problem was with the transactions thereafter. we charged our initial deposit on our cc and the remaining balance as well. 2 payments, should've been DONE. well unfortunately, that wasnt the case. we got married. we honeymooned. we returned,and then looked at our statements. an extra $625 (SIX HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS) charged UNAUTHORIZED BY US by katie rebecca events!??! wth!? we were flabbergasted. we emailed her right away, and she replied. she claimed she'd spoken to her credit card service, but today, about 40 days (and 2 unanswered emails!) after shes claimed something should've happened, NOTHING has happened. when i informed her of this, she wrote back on jan 7th that she would send a personal check to cover that unauthorized 625. i didnt want her to have to deal with that, and i replied that we would wait on the cc refund to appear for a few more days. that refund NEVER CAME. jan 9, i checked our chase card again, still no refund. i wrote katie, and requested that she go ahead and send us the check, and included our address. no reply to that email, nor to the one i sent 7 days ago. checked my mail yesterday, still no sign of a check from katie, or a refund on our chase cc. i tried to give her all options to rectify this unfortunate situation, but this is not 50 dollars. nor is it a couple hundred. it is SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS PEOPLE, and a good chunk of money. we need that money back stat. after writing this, i plan to go on facebook, better business bureau, and obviously, our cc company. katie, i tried to give you the benefit of a doubt, but after these unanswered emails and lack of follow through, i am starting to doubt as to whether or not this was truly an 'honest mistake'. i would strongly strongly advise all past clients to check their cc statements thoroughly and ensure that this has not happened to them & advise potential cust
