Karisa was beyond amazing! She took both our engagement and wedding photos. She was extremely organized and flexible throughout our entire planning process and her communication is top-notch. On our wedding day, I didn't need to give her any direction - she just showed up and killed it. Her personality was the perfect mix of taking charge and directing us and our group - without being bossy or making us feel awkward. She was super patient with my disorganized family (including little kids and dogs!). She showed an incredible work ethic. It was 90 degrees and humid on our wedding day and she barely stopped shooting to take a drink of water. Most importantly, our photos are absolutely STUNNING, joyful, and truly reflect us as a couple! Karisa is highly intuitive and she effortlessly captures who you are. She's also insanely fast. We got our ~1200 photos back SIX DAYS after our wedding! Seriously, hire her. You will not regret it!

Karisa is AMAZING - seriously every photograph was so beautiful, I can hardly pick a favorite. She was so helpful with worksheets well prior to the event to help you figure out what kind of shot you want and the ever important family photos - it is super nice to have these set up beforehand. We went with Karisa for both our engagement and wedding photos and I couldn't be happier with the result. She helped us to capture memories we will cherish forever. You won't be disappointed if you choose her!

Karisa was an absolute dream to work with! I don't know about most couples but my husband and I don't usually go out to parks and take photos of us smooching and cuddling. I was nervous we were going to feel uncomfortable but it was the exact opposite of that. Karisa knew exactly what to do and say to make us feel relaxed and at ease! Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out beautiful (seriously better than we ever expected)! If you're looking for the best, here she is! I would recommend Karisa to anyone and everyone!

Karisa was an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day! Pre-wedding, all of her communication was prompt and professional, and she answered any and all questions we had. She made our wedding day so fun and easy - she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and our photo timeline was a breeze thanks to her. She got us our full gallery of photos in less than a week, and we were able to enjoy them on our honeymoon! And the photos are phenomenal. We cannot recommend Karisa highly enough.

Personality: I had not prioritized personality when choosing a photographer but quickly found out during our engagement session that it's very important! I was initially unhappy because the day we choose for our engagement pictures was cold and cloudy but with Karisa's upbeat attitude, I was fine just a few minutes into the photo shoot. Karisa energizes you through encouragement and just plain happiness when you're tired and had a full day of picture taking.

Style: We loved her style especially because that there was no strange "artsy" special effects. We wanted soft, romantic, fun and honest (why yes, I do have some wrinkles when I smile and that's ok). Even though it's been months after we sent out the album, our guests are still commenting how great the pictures turned out.

Business: The payment, contract, picture gallery and album review was all online which was so convenient! She was always prompt in responding to our questions and even checked in with us to make sure that we were on time to make key decisions.

Pictures: We got a preview of our pictures less than two weeks after our wedding. The entire online picture gallery was done less than a month later. It was sooo convenient to send a link to our guests (and others who couldn't make it) and have them download the pictures they wanted. Other guests wished that their wedding photographer had given them such good coverage of the event.

Karisa is an amazing photographer who provides outstanding service! She made our day so beautiful and special. She had some beautiful little surprises for us. Within hours of our wedding we saw a sneak peek of pictures and we cannot wait to see the rest! The day went by so fast, but we will relive beautiful memories through the gorgeous pictures Karisa took. PS: She also did a fabulous engagement shoot for us!!

My hubby and I went to Karisa for anniversary photos, she was AMAZING! She truly wanted us to have a great time; our photo session felt like a date in itself, so great! If I could go back in time and hire Karisa as my wedding photographer, I'd do so in a heartbeat without a second thought. Any bride would be lucky to work with Karisa, she is kind, genuine and thoughtful. Not only does she care about your photos, she cares about you as a person and your relationship.

Karisa was my photographer for my engagement photos and for my wedding. She traveled all the way from MN to AZ for me. For the engagement session, we were able to go to several locations and ended up with about 200 amazing photos, (which, by the way, were all ready within just days, sooner than we had anticipated). Also, these locations were places that Karisa had never visited before, but the photos came out as if she had shot there a hundred times before and knew exactly what would look just right. I have the rights to all the photos, which is awesome, so I don't have to pick and choose which ones I like...I just get them all! We received nothing but positive comments on our engagement photos, which solidified the fact that I wanted to use Karisa as my wedding photographer, too.
For our wedding, Karisa brought a second shooter with her and we received over 800 photos, once again, all ours to decide what we want to do with them. She listened to us and made lists of exactly what photos we wanted and who we really wanted pictures of and what our must-have poses were. The photos came out beautiful (again, sooner than expected - Karisa is a hard worker) and our friends and family are once again gushing over how amazing the photos look. I was truly blessed to have a talented photographer, as the photograph was truly one of the most important elements of the wedding to me.
Karisa is a lot of fun and you can tell that she loves her job, which definitely adds to the comfort level I felt with her. I don't think I've ever had any other photographer make so many positive comments while taking my photos. She makes you feel like a model! Being her subject is just a pleasant experience all around. She also sent my husband and I several gifts and notes throughout the process, which says a lot about her kindness and that she doesn't see her clients just as clients, but friends. I completely trusted her to take care of me on my big day, which she did a hundred times over.

Karisa down to earth and easy to work with! She had lots of ideas for poses and was also very willing to do anything that we requested. We really love our beautiful wedding photos.
