Just Another Throw Entertainment brings fiery fun in a safe environment to celebrations and weddings across Murray, Utah, and beyond. Owner Justin is an experienced fire-throwing entertainer, and, along with his talented team, he loves delivering unique experiences that leave guests in awe. Seamlessly playing and manipulating fire, they bring a level of excitement to special occasions. They have core values that are incredibly important to them, including ensuring a safe environment for everyone and sharing their passion with others.

Biography

Have you ever woken up and found yourself in the lowest spot you have been in a while? If you have, that exact spot is where my flow and performance journey began. I was going through a very hard time in my life and drinking more than I should have. I woke up one morning, and the first thought I had was that I needed a drink. This was before I even opened my eyes. I had a heart-to-heart with myself, and I quit that day. That very same day, I picked up my first pair of Poi and practiced until there were nine open blisters on my hands. I started eating right and working out. I have never looked back since then. Looking back on that time, Poi and the performances really helped save my life. I know this story is vulnerable and revealing; however, I want to give whoever I can the same opportunity I was given by Poi. I am allowed to share my love and passion every day that I get to perform for others. This is what my core value is and will always be.

Some more information about my journey is in order. I have been practicing performance arts for three and a half years now. However, I have only been performing for two and a half of those years. I have performed at birthday parties, large festivals, celebrations of life, and many more. I got to perform in the great circle at Burning Man as a member of the fire conclave for two years in a row. This was perhaps one of the most honorable opportunities I have had. I can use Poi, dragon staff, and staff as my fire tools thus far. There will be more, though, as my training increases. I long to learn puppy hammer next in my journey.

I have a fire group named Inner Flame, which is made up of amazing people. These artists all bring a level of expertise and passion that can be rare to come by. I am super thankful to be able to perform and offer our services to those who are in need of passion. Our group is named Inner Flame due to its core values. We all have an intense flame burning within us to share our love of fire and what it means to us to others.

What to Expect

A Performance would be anywhere between 15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the circumstances a client desires. This performance would consist of me solo or with many other talented artists interacting with each other or the crowd. We will use the fire or LED tools we have trained with for years. We would then create a stunning spectacle consisting of awe-inspiring movements designed to show expertise and passion. At the same time, we will maintain a safe environment for everyone involved in and around the performance. We are also not limited to only performances. Classes can be offered to all ages to share our love of flow arts. We can offer our services to most events that are in need depending on circumstances discussed with the client.

What We Require

1. A safe area to be able to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone (not as important if fire is not used)
2. A large enough area, depending on the number of performers
3. We require the audience to be at minimum 10 feet away from performers if fire is used
4. We also require a safe spot separate from the stage to fuel our fire tools
5. We also require a space to store our fire tools shortly before our performance while waiting to begin
6. We require everyone to have a blast
