Enlisting Julia Kaptelova to photograph our wedding in Ravello was one of the best decisions we could have made! She arrived the day before to capture our Welcome Dinner and we loved working with her both days. She was very discreet, letting us enjoy the moment while still capturing everything. Like most young girls, I grew up dreaming of my wedding day and imagining all of the perfect little details. I knew from the offset that one of the most important elements of the day would be the photography - it would be the lasting memory of the day in print, that would help us recall those little details and reminisce in years to come. We chose to get married in Tuscany, Italy, and I spent many months searching for a photographer that captured the mood and aesthetic I was looking for, with no luck. I was starting to despair, until one day Julia popped up in my list of suggested follows on Instagram. From the second I viewed her stunning images, I knew she was the perfect person to capture our special day. This conviction was cemented in place when I spoke to Julia - not only is she a lovely, warm person, but she is a consummate professional with incredible vision and an amazing eye for detail. She made everything so easy, from those first conversations online to the wedding day itself, when she moved effortlessly through the party capturing every special moment to perfection. Herself & Valdimir were a lovely, calming influence on the wedding morning and having scouted the location the day before, she picked some beautiful spots in which to take our photos. The final result was simply breathtaking and beyond anything I could have imagined. Her pictures evoke fond and warm memories of our most special day and we will treasure them forever. She is a true artist.
