The ladies at JThree Salon did such an amazing job. I was married at Oakwood Resort and my bridal party and I got ready for the wedding in our room at the resort. The Oakwood staff will come right up to your room to do your hair and makeup for events, which makes the whole experience so much more relaxing. I decided not to have a trial for my hair and makeup, so as the bride, I was a little bit worried about how close to my vision the stylists would be able to get my hair. I showed the stylist two pictures of what I was looking for – one of the front and one of the back and she executed it perfectly. For my makeup, I simply wanted a simple, natural look and with no more instruction than that, the makeup artist did an amazing job. When I’ve had my makeup done in the past, I’ve felt like I could have probably accomplished what the professional had done myself, but not this time. They even have an airbrush makeup option for only $10 more and it’s absolutely worth it – the makeup looks so much more natural and lasts the entire night. I had a bit of trouble with one of the false lashes – it started coming off while we were taking pictures. One of my bridesmaids called over to JThree and they even came up to the event center to fix it for me. The stylists not only did a great job, but they were also just fun to hang out with.
