Planning a destination wedding in Rio Grande, PR from West Palm Beach, Florida was no easy task. I felt very worried about picking a photographer from so far away because, to me, this is one of the most important vendors you must pick for your wedding. I was trying to decide between two photographers and then I spoke to Joseph on the phone. He was so friendly, kind, helpful, and willing to work with my every request. I felt as though I clicked with him immediately. I couldn't be happier with my choice. Throughout the entire process, he made me feel so comfortable with planning a wedding from afar and was very flexible. Joseph even offered to meet us the day before our wedding at the airport! Not only was he talented and professional, but he made me feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera... that to me is a very difficult task and Joseph did it with ease. Joseph LaMotta was GREAT!!!!! We just came back from our destination wedding in San Juan, Puerto Rico and if anyone is planning a destination wedding, believe me….. it can be complicated. I live in Chicago and since the wedding was in Puerto Rico, all the planning and details had to occur through research, emails and phone calls. I contacted several photographers with our budget and specifics of what we were looking for. Joseph LaMotta was the only photographer who responded immediately, listened to what we wanted and never tried to “up sale” us. He requested conference calls prior to our arrival to Puerto Rico and maintained constant communication up to the moment he arrived to the ceremony. He provided us ease and was professional during the entire ceremony and reception. It has been only been 12 days since our wedding and I just received all the photos from him. They are wonderful! He captured everything we were hoping for and did any touch ups on the photos that were needed. We are so very impressed. Since my husband is originally from Puerto Rico, we will be returning and I will definitely be using Joseph LaMotta Photography for any future events we may be having. Our wedding was November 8th, 2012 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Joseph LaMotta was a great pick for our photography and he gave us the right price for what we were looking for. He was reliable, flexible and honest. He was very professional at the time of suggesting and recommending what to do and where to go. We changed our minds a few times and he was very understanding and accommodating. If I could go back, I would also add videography --not sure if he does that-- to complement the pictures.

On 9/20/2009, my wife and I could not be anymore happier than having chosen Joseph LaMotta as our wedding photographer on our special day! He was wonderful! Joseph takes his time to really get to know the couple he is working for to the point where I consider him more than a photographer, but a good friend. Joseph was very flexible and took some shots of us in San Juan's magnificent 16th century fortress "El Morro" 3 days before the wedding day as part of our engagement shoot. We booked Joseph without meeting him, choosing only based on his online portfolio. We loved the candidness of his photos and felt that style suited us best. He was quick to respond to our questions and emails, and the quality of his pictures was amazing! We had a bit of a hurricane scare the day of our wedding, and he was kind enough to change our arranged schedule last minute, so we could get married before the hurricane came in.
