I don’t even know where to begin about John and Brittainy. I want to first start off by saying how truly kind these two individuals are. Weddings can be such a stressful time and it was important for my husband and I to surround ourselves around people that wouldn’t add extra pressure or tension around an already chaotic event. Unfortunately, a reality for that desire doesn’t exist given how many family members, friends, and people (even acquaintances!!) take part in a typical, big desi wedding.

There were times prior to our wedding events that we were under a lot of stress but John and Brittany were such a calming presence in the storm. They spoke to us about their own marriages and asked us questions about our love story- the kinds of things you should be focused on during your wedding. They had the ability to ground us and remind us about what we were actually celebrating.

John and Brittany captured our wedding in a way I didn’t think was possible. Every time my husband and I watch our wedding video we feel as though we’re transported back in time to our wedding weekend. They were able to capture all the feelings and emotions that were happening. I know it’s cliche but I get butterflies in my stomach watching our video. I can’t believe how beautifully the video is orchestrated. The detail in showcasing the venue, the food, our outfits, my jewelry, our family, our friends, our wedding customs & traditions, our first dance, the speeches- EVERYTHING was highlighted. There was so much to capture and they captured it.

There were so many amazing shots in our video- I don’t know how else to explain it bedsides I feel like our wedding video is a movie. I never expected anyone’s video to look the way ours does. It’s so amazing, it’s literally a movie.

John and Brittany also worked with us after to incorporate our favorite music and parts of our wedding that we wanted to be a part of our video. They were so patient and encouraging through the whole process.

I can obviously go on forever about these two but I’ll end this by saying our wedding video is will be one of my most cherished mementos forever. I feel like our wedding weekend lives through our video. Every time I watch it my husband and I are the bride and groom again (even though it’s been 2 years!). I couldn’t love it more if I tried and I wouldn’t change a second of it. Thank you John and Brittainy for giving us something we’ll cherish forever. You guys were meant to do this.

We met John & Brittainy through our photographer, Courtney Larson. They were so accommodating and lovely to work with from day one. We fell in love with their films and got to spend some more time with them during an engagement session - and absolute loved the short film they put together! Super professional and such genuinely kind people; it was special to have both of them there filming both our Western and South Asian wedding ceremonies in Arizona. They wanted to tell our story and spent time getting to know us so they could do just that. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

The filmmakers took the time to get to know us, to really understand our “why.” They came through during the COVID pandemic (safely masked and socially distant) when every venue had shut down. We had not originally planned to get a professional videographer for our wedding. But when relatives could not travel because of COVID we decided to splurge.
