Exceptional and Unforgettable

Jessica and her husband Brian are amazing! She is just the sweetest and easiest to work with and her pictures are fabulous! She goes above and beyond for all of her clients, I would highly recommend her for engagement, bridal portraits and wedding photography.

Perfect Wedding Photography Decision

Choosing The Jeffries as my photographer was one of the easiest and best decisions when it came to wedding planning. As I stressed myself out with details big and small around "our big day", I always tried to focus on if the decision felt right. From the moment Jessica responded to my inquiry, our first meeting and then every other discussion, email, text, photo shoot, etc I always left so relieved in knowing The Jeffries was the most perfect decision to help capture many moments my husband and I will hold on to forever. It just felt right and that is all thanks to Jessica's ability to both connect with and calm the bride-to-be.

Do Not Recommend

WOW! Where do I begin? I would NEVER book this photographer ever again and advise EVERYONE against it!! At the beginning they were nice and responsive, but it seemed like once they received their money, that all changed!
We were not able to use any of our engagement photos because my now wife was wearing stockings and the tops were exposed in almost every photo. Jessica never let us know and we had to find out after we received the photos. We paid for bridal photos that were never taken due to issues with the wedding dress being altered. (No discount for this). On the day of the wedding, Jessica and her husband were late to the venue. They were very nice, and her husband was easy to talk to. We received our first look/preview of the wedding a couple weeks afterwards only because we had emailed multiple times to ask for them. Almost every photographer I work with (I work in special events) provides sneak peak photos the next day. We were given a time frame of 4-6 weeks for the remaining photos. After multiple emails, texts, and phone calls, we finally received our photos 2 weeks after the 6-week time frame. I’m pretty sure they just uploaded them straight from their camera without any editing because there were a couple photos that were blurry. Every time we contacted them, they either did not answer or had an excuse. The excuse was usually that Jessica was sick.
Our package also included a wedding book. They told us to pick 40-60 pictures and they would send a rough draft for the book. The entire process to complete the book would be 5-6 weeks. At the 5-week mark we still had not received the first rough draft. After multiple unanswered emails, my wife texted Jessica who was on her way back from another state. She told my wife that the rough draft was finished before they left but would send the following morning (Wednesday). Thursday morning, she stated she had to “reupload” the pictures which meant she probably had not completed the draft before they left. Jessica said she would reach out after lunch, she did not. Another excuse (Jessica was sick) and we received the pictures on Friday afternoon. We approved the book on Monday and on Tuesday we were told it would take 5-6 weeks to receive the book. Our wedding was April 3rd. We were told the book was sent to production on July 21st. We should receive the book by September 1st.
I sent an email on Tuesday, September 7th, requesting an ETA, since we still had not received the promised wedding album. Thursday, September 9th my wife sends an email. Saturday, September 11th my wife calls Jessica, voicemail box is full. I send a text and Jessica finally responds stating that she has been sick (again) and that they are now only answering emails in 24-48 BUSINESS hours which is 3-6 days, and they also only answer emails between 9am-5pm on weekdays. Are you kidding me??? How do you manage to run a business this way??? She also states she will follow up to my email immediately. Monday, September 13th I finally received an email stating the album would be shipped this week and they could not respond because they had covid. So many excuses. I immediately followed up asking for an ETA (again since they did not let me know when to expect to receive). Tuesday, Sept 21 I sent another follow up email (it was past their 6 business days for a response). Crickets… Tuesday night my wife receives an email from Jessica with the tracking information for the album. They had submitted the album for delivery at 8:52pm. We are supposed to receive the album on Thursday, Sept 23…over 2 months since the album was “sent to production”. Book was finally received on Sept 23 and it was nice to finally end the saga of dealing with the Jeffries.
