Jeff took the most stunning photos of our wedding day- but more importantly, he captured all of the little moments, big emotions, and tiny details that many photographers miss. He was a pleasure to work with, reassured us whenever we had any questions, was EXTREMELY responsive (I can't even count the number of times I sent random text messages with frantic questions), and kept us laughing the whole time. We highly recommend him- beautiful photos, and you aren't waiting months like with others. My sister became engaged shortly after our February wedding, and has already hired Jeff for her wedding this fall.

Jeff is the absolute best photographer you could choose. There are so many things I could say about how much we love Jeff. I am SO thankful we chose him. He made our photoshoot fun, and was truly involved in every part of our day. We have so many beautiful memories that are documented forever because of him! We love Jeff! You won't regret having him as your photographer!

I had a truly disappointing and frustrating experience with Molly and Jeff Patterson, and I would never want another bride to go through what I did. After booking them as my first vendor (besides my venue) and paying my deposit, they abruptly voided my contract over email - without warning, discussion, or even the courtesy of a phone call. Their reasoning? I hadn’t yet booked a wedding planner, despite the fact that:

1) There was no deadline or timeline provided for when I needed to book a planner
2) This requirement was never stated in the contract, nor was there any mention of a timeline for securing a planner
3) I was actively researching and interviewing planners (which Molly was aware of), but as most brides know, booking a planner isn’t always the first priority - especially in the Charleston market, where other vendors tend to book up more quickly

When I initially spoke with them, Molly casually mentioned that they require “at least a day-of planner.” I explained that I was deciding between a partial planner or, at minimum, a month-of planner, so this wouldn’t be an issue. However, they never told me I had to secure one by a specific date. Instead of a professional conversation or a simple heads-up, they abruptly voided my contract in an email - without any prior warning - leaving me completely blindsided.

What made it even worse? When I responded, expressing my shock and frustration, I asked: "This caught me off guard. I didn't realize there was a firm requirement on when I needed to have a planner - just that you require a day-of planner at a minimum. I would have prioritized this higher if I had known it could jeopardize our contract. Can you please hold my date for another 24 hours while I sort through this, or point me to where this was mentioned along the way or within the contract?"... They NEVER even responded. I never heard from them again.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough without worrying that a vendor will randomly back out on you - after you've signed a contract and paid a deposit. The way they handled this was unprofessional and completely avoidable. Had they clearly communicated their expectations from the beginning, I would have prioritized booking a planner sooner. Instead, I was left scrambling for a new photographer, causing unnecessary stress during an already overwhelming process.

Brides - PLEASE be cautious when considering this team. If they can void a contract this easily over a vague and unstated requirement, it’s a major red flag. Weddings require vendors who are reliable, professional, and communicative, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
