Based out of South Lake Tahoe, California, Jazz van Gogh Duo is passionate about delighting wedding-goers with their romantic jazz music. This acclaimed duet is made up of professional musicians Jon and Susan, both of whom take delight in performing memorable original tunes and classic jazz standards. Playing flute and guitar, they are seasoned songwriters who are well-versed in knowing how to dazzle audiences. We create symphonic strings with our nylon guitar along with pretty ambient textures with our acoustic guitar. You and your beloved can rest assured that this duo has what it takes to enhance your big day with an unforgettable score.

Schooled in music to a professional musician Susan study the flute at a tender young age and then ultimately attended Dick Groves School of Music in Los Angeles that had open the doors to her professional performer status. when Susan is not busy performing/recording music she is also a Hair Salon owner in South Lake Tahoe, CA, which she has been a Hair Stylist for many years. She loves to perform live music and Weddings are her favorite venue due to the great vibe, classiness and the true meaning of a Wedding, she loves to take part!
With three musical CD releases to her credit, her diverse music styles have been air-played on “The Wave”, “The Point”, “Hearts Of Space”, “Musical Star Streams” and featured on several other FM radio station formats throughout the years. Susan also have written original soundtracks for featured video documentaries and musical reviews have labeled her music as “Sound Tracks For The Mind.”

Raised in Lake Tahoe and schooled in music turned professional musician with three musical CD releases to his credit. Jon draws his inspiration from the forest surroundings, alpine lakes, streams and the Sierra mountains which he reflects the beauty, through his flowing instrumental music.
Jon also enjoys performing music for Weddings; he actually had Brides use his original instrumentals as their Bridal March!
