James has been photographing weddings professionally in Charleston, Florence, and much of the southeastern United States since 2012. He is currently based in Florence, SC.

James’s style has been described as beautiful, elegant, timeless, artistic and journalistic. His work has been featured on prominent wedding sites such as Borrowed and Blue, Southern Bride and Groom, Ruffled, The Knot, and Wedding Wire to name a few. James was also accepted into the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP) in 2014.

James offers a seamless blend of Fine Art wedding photography and classic technique that stands the test of time. He takes every effort to craft the right image, as well as capture those special moments along the way.

Aside from weddings, James is a husband, father of three, wannabe produce farmer, musician, waterman, and always pursuing that perfect barrel of bourbon.

James was amazing! He was really easy to work with and flexible; he worked with me and not against me. He did not cause any stress to wedding planning or the wedding day. He was also quick with the video; I received my video a lot sooner than many friends who used someone else. Also, his highlight video was the best I've seen and I have shared it to many friends who all agree. James is a must have at your event.

James was honestly the best vendor we worked with throughout the entire wedding. He showed up early, stayed late, and took the most incrediable pictures. His pictures were so creative and beautiful. He captured moments of my wedding that I didn't even see! I was blown away when we received our photos back. He is worth every penny!!

James was amazing! He is very professional while still being friendly and likable, so we felt very comfortable with him. Before the wedding day we went over all the shots that were most important to me and he did a great job capturing those for us, as well as many I never thought about. James delivered our pictures to us in about a week and a half and we were amazed at the beauty, quality and amount of pictures he was able to get. I will continue to use James for family photo shoots in the future and would highly reccomend him to anyone looking for a photographer for any kind of event.

I was so pleased with the profesionalism, and flexibility James provided form the very first consultation.
He was not only on time but an hour early! The price was perfect for our somewhat tight budget but the level of quality and creativity was that of someone much more expensive. We couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience!
