Erik, Kate, and the entire staff from The Iron Forge really went above and beyond for our rehearsal dinner. Kate helped us plan our dinner from top to bottom, including adding some personal touches that really reflected us as a couple. We had cocktail hour at the outdoor patio, which had a fire pit going and a hot cider station with hors d’oeuvres! Then we had a three course family-style dinner. They were even kind enough to make plant-based versions of some of the dishes to accommodate our vegan guest. All of our guests have been raving about the rehearsal dinner since it happened!! Everyone had such a great time. Thank you soooo much to Kate, Erik, and the rest of the Iron Forge for such a memorable experience!

I was looking for a place to host my sister’s bridal shower and I came across the Iron Forge Inn. From my first call with Kate I knew it would be the perfect place. Kate is a talented florist and took care of the flowers, rentals, and everything required to bring my Amalfi Coast theme alive in an upstate New York inn. She tailored the menu to exactly fit out needs and created the most relaxing atmosphere for us to shower my sister. We are already planning a trip back in the fall.

Our autumnal wedding was held at the Iron Forge Inn, and it was an intimate experience that surpassed anything we could have imagined! Kate, the Forge’s event director, made our vision of the day a reality, providing us with such care and attention to detail. She went above and beyond: helping us find talented harpist, suggesting personal touches to make the day unforgettable, and setting up a ceremony space was beyond breathtaking!

As soon as we became engaged, I knew right away that we had to have our wedding here. The Iron Forge is a unique venue, having authentic historical charm of the 1700s and the romantic appeal of being situated amongst the rolling country hills of Warwick, NY. Its interior is tastefully decorated, and its wooded grounds, gazebo, and hillside are breathtakingly romantic. Our day flowed flawlessly, mainly because Kate and her family were so very attentive to our needs. Guests were comfortable and well-fed, enjoying a near perfect fall day.

We are so thankful to the Johansen family for making our day such a special one. The food was delicious, the event flowed so smoothly, and we were fortunate to have been married at such a perfect venue. My guests are still raving about how memorable and distinct our Iron Forge wedding was!

My fiancé and I married this past weekend (9/28/19) in Warwick, NY. Of course, part of planning a wedding means hosting an incredible rehearsal dinner for your closest family and friends. In our search we came across the Iron Forge Inn, also in Warwick, and we knew immediately that we had found the spot. In a building that dates back several hundred years. Each subsequent room in this divided space effuses charm and presents an individual personality. We hosted our friends and family in the Lincoln Room, the Garden Room and we had access to the garden patio (terrific for star-gazing) - everyone was exceptionally comfortable. The food maximizes local ingredients and vendors, it is classic in style and nothing short of delicious. From our first phone call to the Chef/Owner (Eric), to our trial run dinner, our interactions with Kate (Eric's sister and our point person), we felt cared about and like this family would work with us to make anything happen. Our guests have been gushing with praise, host your special event here, or just stop by for dinner. You will never be disappointed.

I cannot say enough positive things about the Iron Forge Inn! We were drawn to the Iron Forge not just for the beauty of the restaurant and the picturesque property in general, but also to the lovely family who own and operate the Inn. They are an absolute pleasure to work with and could not have been kinder! They delivered the most beautiful, perfect wedding on all fronts.

The fabulous wedding planner, Kate Johansen, is simply the best and did an amazing job not only helping plan the wedding and manage us (a nervous, perfectionist NYC couple), but she also put together the most beautiful flower arrangements which were exactly what I had envisioned. The Inn was gorgeously candle-lit, warm and totally romantic, the perfect setting for a wedding party.
Kate's brother Erik is the chef and also did an amazing job: the food was flawless. We received nothing but rave reviews from all the guests about how delicious the food was; and equally as important, the service was impeccable. The staff worked their asses off and did an amazing job serving and taking care of everyone. All the guests felt well-cared for and the staff even walked the guests under umbrellas from the tent inside when it started raining.

Kate keep the wedding running smoothly the entire time which meant we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Everything went off without a hitch timing-wise. It was exactly as we had planned and low stress for us, since we knew we were in good hands and could rely on her to guide us, as well as our guests, through the event. Kate did all the "heavy lifting" for us, which was really appreciated! It was more or less a one-stop-shop for everything (other vendors, flowers, rentals, seating layout, timeline) which made the whole planning process relatively painless!

Without hesitation, would highly recommend the Iron Forge Inn!

Earlier this month, we held our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner at this lovely inn!! The process started 3-4 months ago and working along with Kait was truly a pleasure! The evening turned out to be wonderful, from start to finish. Locally sourced cheeses and vegetables were a big hit, as were the entrees we chose for the evening! Trying to work with guests with food allergies, Eric & Kait could not been more helpful. Although I cannot recall the names of our servers, they were so pleasant and efficient. The Johansen family were so warm , gracious and hospitable! My other 2 sons will be getting married in 2020, would not hesitate to reach out to the Iron Forge Inn once again!!

We went to Iron Forge for our rehearsal dinner and welcome reception the night before our wedding. We had originally booked another venue that cancelled at the last minute, and Iron Forge stepped up big time to help us out. We told them our budget and dietary restrictions, and they accommodated everything. We had dinner on the porch and got the open bar service and family style meal. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly. We then went to the patio for the reception, where there was a bar set-up and a nice bon fire. Our guests couldn't believe that we found such an awesome place, and we felt extremely lucky to be there! We already are making plans to celebrate our one year anniversary with them next year :)

Iron Forge Inn in Warwick, NY hosted my son's and future daughter-in-laws engagement party. We couldn't have been more happy with the event. The chef, Eric, was extremely creative and accommodating with the menu and the food was delicious. The event planner, Kate, was amazing. She made sure every detail was handled perfectly, right down to the flowers. The wait staff was great, catering to each guest's wishes and super attentive. Our party was held on their front porch and it was decorated perfectly. They also have outdoor spaces, however, weather did not permit for our event. We strongly recommend Iron Forge Inn of Warwick for any get together - from dinner up to 100 people.

We had a beautiful and memorable garden themed wedding at the Iron Forge Inn. From the lush grounds and floral decorations to the incredible service, food and drink, they exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable.

We’ll never forget how cool, calm and collected the staff was when a crazy burst of wind and rain hit right as we were about to start the ceremony. They made super quick and seamless adjustments and never showed an ounce of stress at managing the change of plans. Incredible. We are so thankful to them for making the magic happen regardless of inclement weather. We truly don’t have the words to express how meaningful that was for us.

I also have to shout out Erik’s incredibly delicious food, and Kaitlyn’s expertise at managing and directing our wedding. I got super lucky working with Kaitlyn (!) who also happens to be a florist. She is so professional and detail-oriented, thorough from beginning to end. I am so thankful to have had her by my side through every step of the planning process.
