I paid for flowers for the wedding party, greenery to hang in the chandeliers & out around my cake, and the rental of her pipe and drape in which I provided half of the drapes. This vendor did not provide any of the greenery. My coordinator had to supply the greenery herself . The flowers were ok, but not what we had talked about. My bouquet was supposed to be large and almost cascade but it wasn’t. It was a gorgeous bouquet but the bouquet from my bridal portraits were way better and more like what we talked about ( with the exception of the fullness ). The florist advised that for detail shots the boutonnières and corsages would have tags on them where the mothers and groomsmen names would be written beautifully in a calligraphy for detail shots. The tags were just plainly written in print and terrible Penmanship. The mothers’ corsage were not stored properly as you can tell some of the flowers were already browned before the ceremony even began . The florist forgot to make the bridesmaids bouquets and did not provide a throw away bouquet where my lovely coordinator had to make one before the bouquet toss. Extra Flower stems were supposed to be included for the wedding cake, but the only think that was provided was the filler greenery. Not to mention, my now husband ordered flowers to surprise me the day of the wedding and they were not what he asked for.
I wish that was it, but the florist stayed the whole event and was nasty to not only me , but my guest. The florist continued to gossip and cause issues leading up and on my wedding day . I had family who were appointed to help and she got nasty and told them they were not needed when in fact, this vendor was the one who was not needed. She tried to get my wedding shut down advising that I cursed her out when there were many people to witness that this never happened . She had my drapes up until today and still have some in her possession. I would advise to never work with this women. She tried changing all of my ideas at the venue even though she was not hired to be my coordinator, ONLY florist ... and she barely did that. I feel cheated, frustrated, and most of all disappointed.
