Finding a “good” officiant was a top priority for us. We researched and narrowed it down to 4. Robert was the first one we spoke with. Let me tell you my groomzilla is the hardest man to please and as soon as we got off the phone we instantly agreed he was the one! He gave me a sense of calm which is big during a moment like this. I knew that if I felt this way over the phone he would help make our wedding day even better. When we met him in person the conversation made me love him even more, he offered us couples advice that I know will sit with us forever. He also gave us a full rundown of the ceremony and offered suggestions that honestly we would have never thought about. Through this conversation he was trying to get to know us and in doing so we learned a lot about him and his family. It made the experience more personal and less transactional. On our wedding day he was very involved and offered assistance. The ceremony was just what we were looking for, perfection! He definitely knows how to speak and get the audience attention. I wish I could have everything he said written down for me to keep forever.
A big thing I noticed days after our wedding was the amount of help he was. He gave ideas on things other than officiating the wedding and we are glad we listened. We didn’t use him as a photographer but his photo ideas that our photographer didn’t even suggest tell me he must be an amazing photographer as he is an AMAZING OFFICIANT! When we first met Robert several weeks before our March 7 wedding held at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, we knew we were in the best of hands. Robert carefully listened to us as we described our life experiences that brought us together, and then customized his officiating duties to match.
