David and Julie have been happily married since September 22, 2001. Before Idea Chíc, Julie owned her own custom wedding invitation business — in 2009, Julie realized her creativity and passion for hand-making quality products was blooming beyond invitations. Idea Chíc was born!

David helped fill orders at night and weekends until joining on full time. It has been a dream come true for David and Julie to work together in a creative business where they get to design and make everything.

With methodical growth and desire to create more products and stores with amazing people, David and Julie believe employee ownership is the right path to ensure creative and financial ownership and are working towards that goal.

With an undeniable drive to create, Brooke LeBlanc started her own path as a self-taught designer. While designing her own wedding invitations, she learned that one of her favorite things about invitations was the joy of great design time and time again. With this passion, she threw herself into learning about all things graphic design. This led to a decade of design experience, and mastering many creative and engaging solutions across brand identity, print, and digital media. With Idea Chíc, she is excited to get back to her rooted passion of invitation design. Captivated by color concepts and surprising details, she is constantly researching new design trends, methods, styles, and techniques in order to stay up to date in the creative world!

Kylie Snow has been creating for as long as she can remember; she’s always thrived when giving life to new ideas. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Kylie took that boundless creativity to work as an account manager for an advertising agency. Shortly after, Kylie started planning her wedding and was inspired when she saw her invitation vision translate to paper. She was hooked, as if it was in her blood. After welcoming her first-born and continuing to grow her family (now four beautiful children), designing wasn’t at the forefront anymore, but her creativity never wavered. Her continued desire to learn led her to a letterpress demo class at Idea Chic, and the rest is history! Four years later, she joined the Idea Chic team. In a charming twist of fate, she has recently learned her great-grandfather worked for the Kansas City Star, printing the daily newspaper and designing Christmas cards from the basement on his very own letterpress. So, turns out, it really is in her blood.
