Where do I start? Tenika has been amazing from the beginning (my engagement day) all the way through my special day! We collaborated 4 months in advance about my visions for my bachelorette party and my big wedding day! I really appreciated the trial style, just to make sure everything was to my likeing.

Tenika styled my hair for my wedding in 2014. She’s such a joy to work with. Her professionalism is unmatched and she has blessed hands. I gave her a vague idea of what I wanted and she created such a classic updo style for my hair.

Tenika from "How to Zoot 101" is extremely talented in doing hair. Prior to my wedding we talked about what my vision was and she exceeded my expectations! She was very prompt and professional! She did mine and my bridesmaids' hair with time left over to spare because she was so organized. My bridemaids could not stop talking about how professional AND personable she was. It was a great relaxing and stress-free experience.

I cant express how greatful I am to have had Tenika on my wedding day, I found a picture of what I wanted and I showed it to her, I will admit I wasn't sure if it was possible considering I have natural hair and this women in the photo was not in the lest bit curly. And if your a curly you know how difficult it can be to find some one who can do your hair and it not end up damaged or looking frizzy and unruly. I am pleased to say my hair came out beautiful and just as I hoped it would!!! For this reason I then had her do my hair for my maternity shoot. And once again she did not disappoint. Tenika is an outstanding is freelance hairstylist who does hair for weddings, performances, proms, etc. Not to mention a beauty consultant and a strong patient woman who not only listened to my every need, but went over and above to fulfill my dream of feeling the most beautiful on my wedding day. She works to perfection under pressure and was able to keep my nerves calm as I was so nervous about my big day. She also kept my crazy house in order, as my family and I were frantic and panicking about many last minute things to be done. I think that secretly she is a wedding planner because she is filled with so much wisdom and leadership qualities and helped my family and I with much guidance in that area.
