Much lauded and highly sought after, Hoopla Band is a nine-piece wedding group hailing from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Having cut their teeth on the Pennsylvanian club circuit, Hoopla Band’s experienced cast have turned their hands exclusively to wedding performances. With decades of experience playing to crowds of all sizes, Hoopla is the perfect choice for an event of any scale. Their expansive repertoire has something to get everyone dancing, from slow romantic ballads to big-band covers of contemporary classics. The band is available for ceremonies, receptions, and rehearsals in Pennsylvania, and are willing to travel further afield.

Based in Wilkes Barre, PA, Hoopla is a talented nine-piece wedding band that plays music from all eras. With a rich horns section, male and female vocalists, and a rhythm section, this group is in-demand for events all over Pennsylvania. They are happy to entertain at your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. With hundreds of events under their belts, these musicians understand how to read a room and find the right sort of entertainment to please your guests.
Hoopla started out playing in the nightclubs of northern Pennsylvania. Today, however, their focus is on weddings, private parties, and corporate gatherings. They like to provide a luxurious, upscale atmosphere, with tuxedos and cocktail attire being their wardrobe of choice.
Hoopla generally performs for five hours, using their music to enhance the joyous atmosphere. Performances from this band include a professional sound technician, audio equipment, and stage lighting. Band member Nick acts as MC, steering the reception to include any preplanned events. When they take a hard-earned break, they are replaced by a dynamic DJ to keep the celebration going. At your cocktail reception, a trio of musicians can provide sophisticated accompaniment.

-Set up and sound checked before your first guest arrives and background music played.
-Live Trio for you Cocktail Hour.
-Emcee for your Reception Announcements.
-First Dance, Parents Dances customized for Bride and Groom and Parents.
-1 one hour and 15 minute first set, Break with DJ Music to play your customized song list. 1 one hour second set with Send off for the Bride and Groom. (Optional Time if there will be a Dollar Dance and Special Requests.)
-Upon Completion of the Reception background music will be played until your guests depart.

Wedding Ceremony
If your wedding ceremony is on site of reception Music for the Ceremony will be *COMPLEMENTARY.
*If the reception is is outside and the venue does not provide sound equipment, there will be a charge for the equipment to meet the needs of the reception.

*The Band is based in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and there may be a charge for mileage. This was discussed at the time of Contract Signing.

We will work with the couple during the time period before the reception to insure that the Wedding Ceremony.
