About
On WeddingWire since 2023
Hill Crest Flower Farm, situated in Fulton, Maryland, began as a flower farm in 2018 and has expanded over the years into a full-service floral studio. We specialize in natural, romantic, whimsical designs and always prioritize using locally grown flowers and foliage.
Services Offered
Using local flowers greatly impacts our designs, bringing movement and texture that can't always be found in imported flowers. Most of our material comes from our own farm, grown only steps away from our design studio. We love to grow delicate, hard-to-find flowers that bring a unique element to wedding florals. We try to source from other growers in the DMV area when we need something we aren't growing. We are foam-free in our studio work and always aim to use environmentally friendly farming practices.
Our farm is also available for photoshoots. We'd love to host you for your engagement photos!

Hi! I am a co-owner of Hill Crest Flower Farm & Studio, alongside my business partner Laurie Gift. I started my flower career as a grower, but quickly fell in love with the designing side as well. I love hearing about a couple's vision for their wedding. My mind always immediately starts racing with ideas! Having started as a grower, I'm very familiar with the growth habit and unique qualities of each flower and foliage we work with. This allows me to craft really fun and special designs that highlight the beauty of nature and the seasons.

My love of flowers began with a job in a flower shop in college, and I've been designing with any flowers I can get my hands on ever since. When Sarah and I started Hill Crest Flower Farm & Studio in 2018 I got to know flowers from a grower's viewpoint, and I enjoy working with them in every stage of their lifecycle, from bud to seedpod. I have particularly enjoyed the opportunity to harvest flowers in the morning for an arrangement going out the door in the afternoon, giving our customers the freshest flowers possible. Growing our own flowers also means that we can work with unusual and delicate varieties that it would be hard to find elsewhere.
