HiDef VI is awesome. I was a pleasure working with Mike. He was very fun and energetic. Our wedding video turned out beautiful. Connie did a great job on the editing and they were great as far as the expedited service. I got the edited/finished video via Vimeo the very same night after the wedding. Great service. We are so thankful for deciding to hire HiDEf Video VI to capture our St Thomas Beach wedding. They were so friendly and captured everything we wanted...PLUS MORE! We were blown away by the final product. The video makes us cry everytime we watch it. They do amazing work and would hire them again in a heartbeat!!!

I read many great reviews about this vendor and was highly disappointed because I had to wait 20+ weeks to receive my wedding video. The excuse I received was that they had some technical difficulties and equipment issues. I didn't receive that email until October 2012 and my wedding was in June 2012. Of course, I had to reach out to them first. Mike recorded one hour of my wedding and my final video turned out to be less than 15 minutes. I wasn't impressed. I had asked for some sort of credit for the lack of communication and bad customer service I received. This is the response I got back.

What service do we provide? Have you been told that your product is damaged?

Certainly you must have a few months left in your marriage :). The Movie if properly transferred through the years should outlast all of us.

I hope that you wouldn't want to take food or ballet lesson money away from my family.

We have performed a service and have been in communication. As noted before the movie files are safe and are in line to be finished. Circumstances beyond our control have pushed the entire pipeline of work back to levels we have never experienced. I don't make money when I'm replying emails of past events. Consequently I don't keep people waiting this long on purpose.

Super super sorry. You are right to want your movie. We say usually 8 weeks. Barring any technical issues, acts of god etc.

Just as an aside have a look at other wedding video companies time frame on the mainland. I know several who take 6 months to deliver the final edit.

There really hasn't been an egregious instance to warrant a credit.
