We had Shannon do both the photography and videography for our wedding. They were so easy to work with and she was always very fast at getting back to me. Both the video and wedding photos turned out beautiful. Thanks so much Shannon!

My husband and I couldn't have been more happy with the service we received from Shannon and Heart & Soul Photography. We purchased her 8 hour videography and photography package which included complimentary engagements and bridals.
Immediately we knew we had made the right decision because of her willingness to work with us on our different needs and being flexible - we were doing a Chinese wedding which involved different customs, as well as our parents had particular desires.
She was fast, reliable, knowledgeable, and professional during our shoots so as to maximize time, and she also was able to help us meet our deadlines.
Shannon also demonstrated her talent during our couple session and formals, and we are in love with the photos we received. Because of this, we are confident that our photos from the day of our Chinese wedding will be beautiful and we can't wait to see them, as well as the videography.

My husband and I hired Shannon White for my engagements, a bridal session, and for our wedding. To say she did amazing is an understatement. She was so fun and bubbly, while making us feel totally comfortable and photogenic at that! She took my vision and made it a reality. Shannon was great to work with. And was there for our wedding the whole night . She was able to catch so many wonderful moments of our wedding that we will never be able to forget and we will have these memories forever. Shannon was the photographer for our wedding (August 2018). She was fabulous to work with and made us feel comfortable and at ease. She knows how to handle large groups of people and manage crowds (we were married in the Salt Lake temple on a very busy day) and does it all with a smile. We loved the way our photos turned out and are so grateful she was there to help capture the most important day of our lives!

Our ceremony ran late so we were pressed for time as we headed to the reception. I specifically said "Take all the time you need. These are the only pictures the bride and groom will have." I only have 26 pictures of bride and groom. 90% are of them kissing. Only 2 or 3 of them looking at the camera. I only have 1 picture of both of them looking at the camera. I have NO bride portrait or groom portrait. No pictures of bride and mom, bride and dad... same with the groom. Pictures of only half the guests at their tables. Half the room was forgotten. Pictures of the cake are not sharp and exposure is off. Many shots inside the venue are waaay too yellow/orange. The white balance is off. Pictures of just casual going-ons are mostly the back of people's heads. The only way I have pictures of the bouquet is that the bride asked that she take them, and at that, the pictures are very under exposed. Thank goodness there are a decent amount of good photos so I feel we have just enough to feel like we have good memories. I did contact Shannon about my complaint and she did offer a bride/groom session at no cost but my daughter did not want to go through the hassle of dressing up again. Thank goodness I am a photographer and know how to edit images. I was able to edit all the under exposed and incorrect white balance images so they look proper now. Those images the photographer didn't even edit before giving to me.
