Right from the start, I was very impressed with Katie and her level of professionalism, creativity, ability to problem solve, responsiveness, flexibility, and obvious appreciation for her husband who helps her build rentals and set up the design. I ended up renting most of our decor through Katie and was not disappointed. For each challenge in the design process, Katie had an answer and made me 100% confident that she would take my vision to the next level. She took the elements I'd collected from nature or created with my family and found a home for them within her rental items. The result was an earthy design fit for a viking lodge. I almost forgot to line up to walk down the aisle as I was soaking in each and every detail. She exceeded my expectations. Katie also built a custom arch out of aspen logs and worked closely with our florist (Beehive Floral) to match the wildflowers naturally growing on the mountainside. All of our guests continue to talk about that arch, the tablescape, the fireplace mantles, the pie/cake display, and the really rad bar. I highly recommend Katie to someone who is down to earth and looking for a design that matches nature's elements while also softening the setting with earthy tones and unique fibers. Katie is fantastic and I wish I could have her design all of my gatherings.

I'm a control freak about details and I trusted Katie with boxes of random decor I had collected for my wedding and she did not disappoint putting everything together! She's obviously a great designer and will make your wedding look like a dream. Love that they have their own unique and custom items to rent. Katie and her husband were both very sweet and made my wedding day perfect!

I love working with Havenwood weddings! They are responsive, organized, and have great taste. Every detail is gorgeous and they have lots to choose from. If they don't have what you want....they have the skills to make anything.

We just got our Bridals done on the ranch with their beautiful horses. We felt like we were in a fairy tail. They made us feel extremely comfortable. Looking forward to more with Havenwood Weddings! We recommend all our friends and family.

I was the Maid of Honor for a wedding Katie was hired for. Upon arrival at the reception (20 minutes before guests arrived) the table seatings were not finished, the decor was not set up, and the venue was not ready. I assisted in setting out drinking glasses, lighting candles, picking up chairs, double checking design details, etc. so that the venue could be completed before guest arrival - all tasks that were paid for and supposed to be handled by the day of coordinator (Katie). The bride saw the frantic decorating efforts and instantly became stressed. When I approached Katie with concerns that the bride had, I was not treated professionally, but instead she became defensive and started to bicker with me. The bride was extremely organized and detail oriented and there is a long list of simple tasks that were not completed as they should have been. Not only did all this take me away from spending time with my best friend, but it will always taint the memory of an otherwise perfect day. I would not recommend Katie to coordinate your event.

Katie was unprepared and her appearance was unprofessional. I was hired to take over the ceremony duties so Katie could focus on setting up for the reception, but even after being relieved of the ceremony duty the reception decoration was not done in time for the reception. I arrived to complete my ceremony duties and ended up hanging banners and decorating until my ceremony duties could not wait any longer. It is expected that a coordinator can handle set backs and unplanned events gracefully but Katie became flustered and almost seemed unable to handle the stress. I carried out many of the reception duties throughout the night even though they were not my responsibility. Her behavior and communication were unprofessional and did not bring any reassurance to the bride or bridal party. I would not hire Katie to plan or coordinate your event.

Katie did not live up to expectations. Her role began as the ceremony and reception coordinator, but was reduced to just decorating. The reception was still being set up as guests were arriving. Many guests, DJ, Bride/Groom and wedding party pitched in to complete the set-up for the grand entrance; the venue should be set, with comfortable time remaining, not at the last second. All shortcomings were placed on the bride as either “unorganized” or the bride was asked to go handle them during the wedding event. I would look elsewhere if you are wanting a stress free wedding day that is completed on time.
