My (now) husband and I reside in Southern California, but we are from East Tennessee and knew we had to get married back at Rocky Top.
We booked our venue, wedding planner, and photographer, but were still needing to book a videographer.... our wedding planner, Marvyl (@ Team Wedding) said she had just the guy- one she personally recommended and I went ahead and contacted Haven Media.
I was in contact with Matt throughout our engagement- sending him a couple links to wedding videos I found to be "our vibe" and he was so responsive and communicative after viewing my references.
FAST FORWARD TO WEDDING WEEK: I fly into Knoxville- and am feeling the pre-wedding anxiety. The forecast was now calling for a day of rain and wind- not something we were too stoked about. I reached out to Matt and asked if we could meet in person to chat about the day- he was so quick to say yes!
We met at Starbucks and after five seconds of sitting down and speaking to Matt- I knew I had chosen the best. He has a very relaxed vibe about him and you will know what I mean when you book him.
The best part of our in person meeting- I gave Matt a vision that I had of our rainy wedding day of our bridal party running (in the rain) from point A to B and he says "YEAH AND I WOULD BE IN A GOLF CART WITH A TARP". After he said that I was like-- yep, he's the guy for this job. I love people who just go with it-- and Matt is someone who just goes with it, simply put.
FAST FORWARD AGAIN TO OUR WEDDING DAY- Matt is someone who is chill and go with the flow but organized and detail oriented at the same time.
Matt and his partner captured our day in a way that leaves me speechless- THE NIGHT OF OUR WEDDING he had already sent over a teaser and it was probably the best 32 seconds I have ever watched. I got to see my husband's reaction of me walking down the aisle- we cannot wait to see the rest! Book Haven Media for your special day!
