Have Party Will Travel

HPWT was great to work with for our wedding. I worked mostly with Mindy who gave us a clear timeline for when things need to be picked out and planned and help us stay on track. She was very flexible in working within our budget and transparent on costs. We’re still getting compliments on our food, when our wedding was months ago.

Have Party Will Travel catered our wedding and did a phenomenal job! Abby and the HPWT team was so helpful during the planning process and answered so many of our questions quickly and offered great advice. We loved the décor options and the service was top notch! We have multiple guests comment on how friendly the bartenders were. Abby was on top of all the details and reminded us of upcoming deadlines and decisions - she attended our walkthrough at the venue and made sure everything was set up and ready to go. We would highly recommend HPWT!

We could not be happier with our decision to work with Have Party Will Travel! They were wonderful to work with through the planning process, and they made our wedding dinner & reception go so smoothly. Our space was beautiful, setup and cleanup went super quickly, the food and drinks were delicious (and we got MANY compliments from friends and family), and their staff was wonderful. They were total pros and were flexible even when we had small tweaks close to our wedding. We'd absolutely hire HPWT again!

This is our second time using Have Party Will Travel. We first used them for our daughter's wedding. She wanted fun, different food for her reception. We struggled to get other caterers to catch the vision. HPWT got it exactly right and was half the price of some the bids we got from other caterers. So when we planned a Harry Potter party and wanted Toad in the Hole, meat pie and sticky toffee pudding, we called HPWT. Once again, they were amazing. Mindy worked with me until we got exactly what I wanted. The staff showed up on time, the serving table looked great and they were such nice people to interact with on what could have been a stressful day. Another reason I used HPWT again is that you can choose a venue that only has a sink and they will just show up with the food in their truck. I would not use anyone else.

I never write reviews, but I felt it necessary with this event. I hired Have Party Will Travel for a corporate event in Park City at the Olympic Park and the food was exceptional! The service was extraordinary!! My meeting was perfect and I couldn’t have done it without Have Party Will Travel!
If I could give them 10 stars I would! Very impressed with them!

Our daughter wanted empanadas and pie as the menu for her reception. We also had a venue without a kitchen, so I had to really hunt for a caterer! I contacted different caterers to see who could work with us and pricing. Have Party Will Travel was the cheapest BY FAR. I was glad to hear that, but also worried that maybe the quality of their food was reflected in the lower pricing. First of all, they did not usually have empanadas but the chef made some for us to taste, and even included a very specific type of empanada our daughter asked for. I was so nervous for the tasting, but I was so excited by the end! The pie was amazing. The empanadas were amazing. I cannot say enough about how great Tilynn was to work with. I must have asked her 4 times to give me different bides and she was so prompt in her response and so polite. The night of the reception, their team showed up and set everything out and it looked beautiful. Their team was incredible. So polite. So great the entire evening. People LOVED the food....they added a salad to the menu and it had rave reviews from the guests. People loved it all so much they went back for seconds! The staff was so worried the wedding party would not get food that they set some aside for us. They were really the nicest people to work with. Don't go with the more expensive caterers! Have Party Will Travel did EXACTLY what we wanted at literally half the price. Tilynn is amazing to work with! Thank you HPWT!!

Have Party Will Travel did an amazing job with my daughter's wedding! The prep meeting with Tilynn was so helpful and informative at the venue, with table, seating, buffet, and layout suggestions ready. Their whole staff was incredibly helpful on the day of. They were all friendly, the food was delicious (we had salsa bar and enchiladas), and they were so wonderful with working within my budget. I can't recommend them enough!

Tiylynn at HPWT was amazing! She was immediately responsive and continued to be during the three months we worked together. She was flexible and calm which is a great quality when working on a high-stress event. Great food, and service and all-around experience.

We can't recommend Have Party Will Travel enough. They had all the food, chinaware, and linens ready to go perfectly on time, even though we had a morning wedding at Red Butte Garden and the university traffic was especially bad. The staff was so friendly and professional, they seemed to celebrate the day with us, even though I know they do hundreds of weddings. The staff even gave us cute marriage advice as we were leaving and they were cleaning up after the luncheon. :) The food was amazing and beautifully displayed. Our event specialist Mindy was so easy to get ahold of in the months and weeks prior to the big day and even did a site visit with us ahead of time to make sure she knew the exact layout we wanted. I could go on and on... Basically, they will do an amazingly professional job and help you with all the details you forget or don't even realize you need. (For example, she caught a food allergy item last minute that I hadn't even thought about which allowed all our guests to eat all the food.) 5+ stars from us.
