Ashley & Matthew are a talented, conscientious and heartfelt team. We can’t believe we were lucky enough to work with them. They captured our day beautifully – both the highlights that we remember and little moments in between that my partner & I didn’t witness on the day but now get to look back on and cherish for the rest of our lives. I cannot say enough good things about how they execute their craft & just how great they are as people. You will want this duo there with you on your day, promise!

We have not yet received our film, so I'm writing this review just based on our wedding day experience. My husband and I cannot say enough about Ashley and Matt's guidance and professionalism throughout our wedding weekend.

I was concerned that the ever-present cameras would change our behavior or make us act awkwardly, but Ashley advised us that they would quickly fade into the background. She was right. She and Matt blended in so seamlessly that I honestly forgot cameras were there. I know they captured truly authentic moments because of this.

Matt hung out with my husband and his groomsmen during the day and they loved him. Ashley was in the bridal suite throughout wedding lead-up and she provided such a calming presence. She stepped in when needed, provided words of support when I felt overwhelmed, and really helped the day run smoothly. I really have nothing but great things to say.

Although this was our splurge item in our budget, I would do it again and again. Despite every effort to be present and intentional on our wedding day, it truly goes by so fast. I can't wait to relive it when we receive our footage.

Selecting Hampton Roads as our wedding videographer was one of the best decisions we made, and hands down the best investment we put into our wedding budget. From the moment we talked to Ashley and Matt, we knew that they would be the ones to capture our Wedding day at Montaluce Winery in North Georgia this past May, and we're so glad that they did. My husband works in the video production industry, and was heavily involved throughout this process - from the shooting style, aesthetic, and equipment everyone used. Beyond their quality of work, Ashley and Matt are just wonderful, professional, and happy people. We actually hadn't met until our wedding day since we were planning from afar, but it felt like we had been friends throughout the entire planning process - and this was all before we ever received our video.

We can't even begin to describe what it was like to watch our wedding video for the first time. It surpassed anything that we could have ever imagined, and have continued to watch it since. We're so happy that we'll always have this to look back on and remember our wedding day. They captured everything perfectly about our wedding day. So many people, whether they were guests at our wedding or not, have mentioned how great our wedding video was. They either relived the night, or felt like they were with us.

One piece of advice, is that we would suggest adding extra time to your contract if you're hoping to catch your pre-wedding activities in more detail. Depending on how your day is laid out, eight hours can fly by fast. We wanted everything covered on the tail-end, but didn't leave a lot of buffer time on the front end. So think about how your day is planned, and see if it's worth adding the time if needed.

Thank you for being wonderful to us on our wedding day, and for capturing it beyond what we could have ever imagined. If you're looking for a videographer, we would recommend Hampton Roads ten times out of ten.

Matt and Ashley make an incredible team and were a blast to work with! We absolutely loved our video and believe it was a perfect reflection of our day. We are so grateful for them! To all brides... if you are considering a video, my encouragement is go for it and if budget is tight, try and work the numbers to where it fits in the budget. Ashley and I spent a long time talking on the phone before I hired them. She took a lot of time getting to know who I was and how my (then) fiancee and I are as a couple. She cared more about my being happy with her work and making sure it was what I wanted... rather than just seeing us as a source of income. It is obvious this line of work is important to them and money is just an added benefit of making someone's day special. That speaks volumes about their character. Aside from their wonderful personalities, their work is incredible too. The videos they post speak for themselves so definitely watch some; you will see what I'm talking about! I am so glad we got to share our special day with them and we are so excited to see what the video will look like.

You only have to watch one of their short films and you will be convinced that you need to hire them immediately! I had really thought that if we hired a great photographer, that this would be enough and then my daughter the bride convinced me to take a look at a film done by Hampton Road Studios. After watching for only seconds I knew we needed this more than anything else. The day goes by and you can't even really remember everything that happened or what was said and that isn't always translated on paper but a living, breathing film is an extraordinary way to see the day. We waited over 2 months for our film but it was worth a million dollars. It is FANTASTIC. I would rather have this film than anything else we secured for that day. Better than cake and we had an extraordinary cake!!! You will be thrilled and overjoyed to have the Hampton's at your wedding. Best decision ever.
