I cannot say enough good things about Sarah, what a truly wonderful woman. I planned my wedding from out of state and at a private residence so I was very stressed about the whole planning process. I couldn’t meet with vendors and we needed lots of floral, lighting and furniture rentals for our wedding since we didn’t have anything like that. Sarah made it all happen! We booked her as a full time planner about 9 months from our wedding and she was so amazing through the whole process, from helping us create our vision to making that vision come to life. She truly cared about making this the best experience for us. I went out to visit and she was able to book me a hair and makeup trial last minute with someone amazing and we ended up changing caterers a week before the wedding because our original caterer did not have it together and Sarah found us someone better. She was patient with us and flexible with phone calls to check in and make sure everything was going to plan. I could not have thrown this wedding without her. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would! She is such a gem, truly a professional, and genuinely a good person (and knows how to throw a great wedding!). Sarah Gurule and her team at Gurule Gatherings were crucial to the planning of our daughter’s wedding, hosted by my husband and I on our mountain property last weekend. Why? Well, hosting an outdoor wedding in any season can be fraught with worry about weather. In this instance, it is helpful to have a calm, resourceful, and positive person guiding the process, mitigating the pressure along the way. Sarah is this person and more. Sarah is extremely professional, communicative, well networked, creative, efficient, compassionate, kind, and an amazing problem solver without batting an eye. During an introductory onsite visit to our property, we saw first-hand Sarah’s ability for vision. Right off the bat she suggested the best ceremony site, tent set up for the reception, and DJ / dance floor area. This initial vision of hers allowed us to bite into the reality of how wonderful a wedding could be on our wooded property. What Sarah did was create excitement for us about this prospect. During the entire planning process, Sarah led the way with suggested vendor selection and timing, happily answering all questions along the way. Although our daughter and her fiancée live in another state, Sarah was on hand via Zoom for frequent updates during the entire planning process, allaying any apprehensions they had about the planning process from afar, including choice of caterer, bakery, florals, photographer, DJ, etc.

As the wedding day approached, El Nino provided two solid weeks of rain, raising our stress level, but Sarah’s calm and ever-confident attitude provided some very necessary grounding for us and a hopeful outlook. By wedding day, the skies cleared, the sun shown brightly and the ceremony was absolute perfection with a beautiful sunset backdrop. Sarah had instructed the wedding party as to the order of procession during a rehearsal and was onsite during the actual event to guide us seamlessly throughout. Afterwards, her coordination with the photographer, cater, and DJ made the evening flow with ease. It was one of the happiest occasions of our lives, and all the family members and guests’ feedback reflected the perfect execution of the ceremony and celebration. Happy vibes felt by all. Sarah and her team were onsite in the early morning and throughout, working in the background and as the evening ended, the Gurule team went into organized cleanup and closure mode like clockwork.

Because of Sarah, we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day. We are incredibly grateful for her hard work, dedication, and heart. We cannot recommend her highly enough and will forever be thankful for the role she played in making our wedding so special.

Sarah Gurle did a phenomenal job in coordinating and running our Wedding day. I can not say thank you enough to Sarah and her team for being on top of it and setting up our whole reception decor perfectly. Just how we imagined. Our day was amazing and Srah and her team made sure we got to enjoy every moment. Any question that was brought to us we can then pass it to Sarah and she would handle it perfectly.
