About

Grapevine Plaza is a distinctive wedding and event venue located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Hosting exciting occasions since 1996, this destination can be the ideal backdrop for your milestone event. Home to the Picacho Peak Brewing Company which opened in 2015, the venue has many interesting drawing factors that set it apart. Under the guidance of a talented and experienced administrative team, you and your guests can expect a hospitable and luxurious experience here.

Facilities and Capacity

The venue’s ample space makes it ideal for even the largest wedding events, while it is flexible enough to accommodate more intimate gatherings, too. Outside, the grounds allow for a guest capacity of up to 1,500 people. A sprawling grass-covered lawn awaits and can be the perfect space to host a wedding ceremony or reception. A covered stage area with a dancefloor can be found to one side of the grounds. Here, couples and their guests can enjoy some live entertainment while dancing beneath the New Mexico sky. In addition, a covered patio section allows guests to take refuge from the elements, with fire pits located nearby, just in case. Inside, the gorgeous main building features soaring vaulted ceilings and distinct Spanish-style architecture. This event space feels warm and inviting with an indoor stage and bar area available. The indoor area can hold up to 300 guests comfortably, making it an ideal venue for gala-style wedding receptions. For the convenience of the wedding party, get-ready rooms are provided so that couples and their entourage can prepare themselves in privacy and comfort.

Cindy and Xavier were wonderful and we couldn't have done it without them. The venue was the perfect place to have both the ceremony and reception. Our guests had the best time and we had a beautiful day!

The venue has a great outdoor area. They have indoor and outdoor options. The food they cook is fantastic and they will work with you to generate any menu you would like. They do the layout, setup, take down and clean up which is awesome! They have tables, chairs and catering available with the venue which is nice because you don't have to organize that yourself. They are easy to work with to get into the venue for viewing and picture taking.
However, beware of additional/hidden costs - if they say they have something available for you to use or a service available, ask about the cost. Also, get everything in writing. Email response is usually slow. When I contracted the venue the bridal room was very large and had lots of room/amenities to get ready. I was not notified it would become a brewery by the wedding day and be very different. The bridal room is now very, very small and you cannot get ready in it. It is also way too small to take bridal portraits and getting ready photos in. I have been to several events at this venue and have heard very mixed opinions about it. I would say the best things about this venue are the food and outdoor area. I would say the worst things about this venue are things being changed without notification and last minute charges and changes. Overall, our wedding went well however there are a few things that did not go as they should have or as I was told they would. Because of this, I would recommend this venue for graduation parties, birthday parties, etc. but not for a wedding.

They ruined my wedding. Their dj was unprofessional and played the wrong music for the bridal processional. they bait and switch you with their prices. it's extra for a gazebo, for tiki torches, for real plates and real silverware. they catered our wedding with CHILDREN. the child workers started a soccer game, and ate all of our cake. when we talked to Cindy, she snapped at me and bit my head off. It's been three years and I still wish we had gotten married anywhere else. It was chaotic, disorganized, and cheap instead of classy and sweet.
