Grand Palace is a great reception venue for Chinese Banquets. It's amazingly beautiful and the food is excellent! We spoke with the manager Tony. He's excellent, a real people person and excellent manager. He's very kind and polite. Who needs to talk to someone rude for such an important occasion! He's willing to work with you. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, pretty fancy. It'll actually be even better b/c they're remodeling it (too bad after our wedding reception). We wanted to go with a buffet style at first to fit our budget. But after talking, Tony was able to help us out with the perfect menu. He showed us that we can still have a beatiful, bountiful Chinese banquet with our budget for 20 tables. The Restaurant itself is nicely equipped with all the audio, and visual needs so you don't have to ask an outside vendor. They also have a whole bookful of designs and colors to chose from. They're also flexible with the menu and replaced some menu items we didn't like with what we liked. BTW, they also have great dimsum!

Great service and the food was excellent. Tony, the manager, is very easy to work with. Very good deal.

We had our Chinese Wedding Banquet Dinner here! Tony and Rick were very responsive from the start, however they really only deal with events in person -- other than that, it's difficult to communicate with them through phone or email. We had a fairly small guest list so the upstairs loft was the perfect size. They have various different menus to choose from to cater to your price range. We ended up with a menu of $668/table with 10/table. We tipped our servers at the beginning of the night to ensure they had a little more motivation to do a good job. Everything was already set up exactly how we wanted when we arrived, they didn't charge extra for cake cutting or bottle service when we brought our own beverages. Microphone, speakers, television and projector were all available for use at no extra cost. They even provided matching napkins and table linen to fit your wedding theme. Chair ribbons were an additional $2.50/chair. I knocked off half a star because although everything went smoothly and the food was good, there wasn't much of it! Every single table cleared their plates and not a single drop of food was left behind even though we fed our guests lunch and we had a 10 course dinner with dessert and wedding cake.
