Our guests loved having an ice cream sundae bar at the wedding. It was a hot day and this was interactive, unique, and delicious. The fact that we were able to support a long-standing local establishment was the cherry on top! ;) My husband and I are not huge fans of cake, so we wanted to do something a little bit different (that we did enjoy). We contacted multiple places trying to find someone that could help us do an ice cream sundae bar to serve 300 people. Most places were VERY expensive and we thought that doing this ourselves would be tough (and messy). Through even more research we found out that we could have an ice cream sundae bar catered by Grand Ole Creamery! The best way to contact them would be to call or go in to the store and meet with a catering manager. We went in and sat down with Pam and she helped us figure out how much we needed to order of everything. We were also able to try all the different flavors to determine what would be best. She filled out an order form as we went and a week before the wedding we went to the store, confirmed our order, and paid. It was all very simple. We were able to have ice cream for 300 people, 2 servers (who came early, set up, cleaned up, and were extremely sweet), toppings (chocolate sauce, caramel, sprinkles, cherries, oreos, etc.), spoons, napkins, dishes, and huge scoops of ice cream for everyone - all for under $500 (including tip). This was an amazing experience for us and we would definitely recommend using Grand Ole Creamery!

We decided to serve ice cream instead of cake at our wedding, but didn't want to break the bank either. We had a hard time connecting with Grand Ole Creamery, but once we were able to we had a great experience. They provided two servers and all the spoons, bowls, and napkins along with the ice cream. The ice cream was delicious and a great mix from the standard cake. Our guests were pleasantly surprised!

My husband and I love Grand Ole Creamery and decided to have them cater our wedding reception in place of the cake. The catering manager was a little hard to work with during the process, she was not very organized or responsive. It all worked out though and our guests loved the ice cream experience. The quality of the ice cream is indisputable, and it's a fun little wedding activity to go pick out your flavor. They set up a big cooler with dry ice on a table we had arranged for them, we had 4 different flavors and also ordered dishes and cones. We had 2 scoopers serving the ice cream (170 guests, 2 scoopers worked out well), they were very reasonable priced. We had them stay about 1.5 hours, which I think was more than adequate.
