Melissa from Gourmet by the Bay was wonderful to work with for my daughter’s wedding! Her guidance and insight were invaluable and the food was delicious! She took care of all the details involving rentals and gave us great advice when we asked for her opinion. We highly recommend Gourmet by the Bay!!

We used Gourmet By the Bay for our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and brunch, and we could not recommend them more highly! Sidney and her team were absolutely phenomenal. They were incredibly professional and so easy to work with. Even though we didn't have a wedding planner and we were planning our wedding from a distance, Sidney and her team made sure the whole process went smoothly and that we didn't overlook any details. They also gave us great advice when we asked for it, but were never pushy about adding anything we didn't want or need. They were also so cool under pressure - we had to add an extra guest less than 24 hours before the wedding and they easily allayed our worries and quickly added an extra meal and seat. The fact that they catered basically 3 separate events for us and that no detail was overlooked is a testament to how good they are. On top of that, all the food was amazing and we heard from so many guests that it was some of the best they'd had, and that everything tasted super fresh and delicious. Our wedding was perfectly seamless and we can't thank GBTB enough. Hire Sidney and her team - they're the best!

One of the best decisions of our wedding was to hire Gourmet By the Bay. Melissa was an absolutely pleasure to work with. She is super organized, incredibly thoughtful and nice, and helped guide us throughout the whole process. Melissa went above and beyond to make our wedding day incredible. The food was spectacular. Our guests all commented on everything from the cocktail hour, to the dinner, to the dessert. Absolutely fantastic. So grateful for Melissa and the whole teams’ work to make our wedding weekend so wonderful.

Gourmet by the Bay recently catered our 250 person wedding at my parents' house, which was a tented ceremony and reception overlooking the Choptank River on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Sidney and the rest of the Gourmet by the Bay crew were instrumental in helping make our wedding weekend such a success! While recapping the wedding together over the past several weeks, my husband I have repeatedly commented to one another about how securing them as our caterer was one of the best things that happened to us with the wedding planning. The food was incredible (numerous guests told us that it was the BEST wedding food they'd ever had!) and they worked with us to create a unique menu that perfectly complimented the theme of our Eastern Shore wedding. Moreover, their professionalism and knowledge of all things wedding...from helping coordinate the tent arrangements, the place settings, ceremony chairs, and everything in between....helped make the entire day go smoothly. Sidney's attention to detail and the effort she puts into her clients' events are above and beyond! We would HIGHLY recommend Sidney and the rest of the Gourmet by the Bay staff for your wedding day or any other wedding-related event!

Sidney was a dream to work with from day 1 - we were planning a backyard wedding with no wedding planner and Sidney was incredibly flexible and accommodating, offering advice about not only F&B, but also the general event set-up, rental needs, flow, etc. No question was too small and no option too inconvenient to look into. The food was delicious - our only regret is that we can't go back and taste everything all over again! Sidney and the Gourmet by the Bay team helped create a special menu to reflect our relationship (poke from when we met in Hawaii, crab beignets for when we lived in Louisiana, etc) and guests raved about how delicious the various stations were! The only place where we strayed from Sidney's advice was with stocking the bar, which was a good thing since our guests drank more than twice what Gourmet by the Bay estimated, but brides and grooms typically know their crowd and how many big drinkers there will be. Sidney and team also helped provide food for a BBQ the following day - they made the planning process as painless as possible! We highly recommend choosing Sidney and Gourmet by the Bay for your wedding or other event - you won't regret it!

GBTB was off the charts! From the moment we met Sidney, she was nothing but professional, helpful, and honest with us about all our questions- and I had a lot of questions:) She always emailed me back right away- her communication was flawless. The food at our wedding was spectacular! We opted to do heavy appetizers (you must order the corn and crab fritters, a total hit!), skipped the salad course, and did late night bites. This was Sidney's suggestion and we are so glad we took it as this schedule led to lots of dancing! Everyone raved about the food and Sidney and her staff were kind enough to box up the dinners of guests who could not make it at the last minute. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. I would highly recommend GBTB- they are well worth the price.

Highly Recommend!! We used Gourmet by the Bay for our entire wedding weekend...rehearsal dinner, wedding reception and post wedding brunch. From our first meeting with GBTB, to the execution of our three events, Sidney and Melissa, were wonderful to work with. Their attention to detail, friendliness and not to mention the food was OUTSTANDING!! Our wedding weekend was earlier this May and our guests are still raving about the food. GBTB is the exceptional in all they do! I have been to enough weddings where I couldn't tell you what I even ate... let alone wished I'd eaten more. All of our guests (and my husband and I) were going back for seconds and thirds. We chose stations, and every single station was amazing! It sounds like the tossed salad station was the favorite among our guests, but I wish I could have the grilled lamb every day of the week! The salmon was cooked to perfection (which is so difficult to do at home, let alone in a cook tent in the middle of a garden!).

And then there was Melissa and her attention to detail, her coordination with Eastern Shore Tents and Events, and her fantastic staff! Everything was perfect, and if we lived in Maryland, we would use them again and again! Thank you GBTB!
