Allen was a great addition to our wedding – we got many compliments on the music and although my husband and I were pulled away for photos for a good portion of the night, we know our guests had a blast! He was able to adjust his style to accommodate those who were dancing most (my aunt was very adamant about playing 80’s) without overdoing it and he was able to save a few of our requests for the end of the night when me and husband were finally able to join on the dance floor. My only wish was that we had coordinated a bit more in advance on our entrance: we went straight from the entrance to the first dance, so Allen started playing the dance song right away but I had to take off my veil, so we were a bit delayed in starting the dance but Allen handled it well by looping the intro of our song in a way that seemed pretty natural until we were ready to start our dance. I don’t think anyone else noticed, to be honest! He kept the vibe up all night and was very responsive via email during planning. We would definitely recommend Allen, as he had a great value for the price and even had lighting as an add-on to help our reception area look great! Thanks, Allen, we wish we could have spent more time on the dance floor with you, but we know our guests really loved it!

Allen was wonderful to work with for our wedding. My wife and I are super picky with music, and Allen gladly accommodated our needs. We had interviewed other DJ’s that had great reviews, but seemed more like they wanted to perform for our crowd (read: loud, obnoxious), or had really intense personalities, but we knew when we met Allen that we had found our dude. Allen is cool as a cucumber and had the exact vibes we were looking for! We got married at Ghost Ranch which is very remote and a difficult place to set up, so we were worried about what the sound would be like.

Even though he had never worked at Ghost Ranch before, Allen was a total pro, and everything he set up sounded great. Our ceremony space didn't have power, but he used a small generator that no one could hear, and the microphones and sounds were high quality, even in windy conditions. We moved to a second location on the ranch for the reception, and Allen did a great job of providing a backdrop for our dinner, making any announcements we needed, blending in his own musical choices with the songs we provided, and keeping the dance floor packed until curfew! And every time we walked by Allen, he was always smiling and had great energy. He was very sweet to our guests and kept the energy up all night!

DJ Allen Gallegos was superb and flexible with a challenging venue. We would readily hire him anytime, anywhere!!
