We could not be happier with our decision to have Geoff photograph our wedding- Our pictures are PHENOMENAL! He was very prompt with email correspondence and very professional yet fun to be around while capturing our special day. I have gone through my pictures numerous times and still can not seem to pick a handful of favorites--there are simply too many good ones. Geoff's creativity and talent are depicted in each shot . . I would absolutely use Geoff in the future and recommend him to friends. :)

I live in the Chicago area and my husband and I wanted a small destination wedding for what was both of our 2nd marriages. We decided on Savannah and that it would be us, our collective 4 kids and my parents. I have a history of photography myself which made me really picky! I loved Geoff's photos on this site and I contacted him. Thankfully he decided to take on my super tiny, short wedding and the photos are fabulous! I'm so, so happy with my choice - memories to last a life time...and me, the pickiest of all, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality. Great work, Geoff - thanks again!

Geoff and his assistant were so amazing! They helped make our day special from the moment they arrived! Geoff was flexible and easy to work with! He knew what pictures we wanted and had great ideas for more we had not thought of! :) The shots they captured were moments in time we will remember forever! We had some rain at the last minute which made for a flustered bride (me) but they were awesome suggesting we wait a few for the rain to pass! When we rain passed we had a gorgeous and quick wedding in the park! Forsyth Park in Savannah was a beautiful setting for pictures and Geoff and his assistant captured the natural beauty around us!

My husband and I are so glad that we had Geoff shoot our wedding. We appreciate all of the tweaking, editing, and creative points of view. They are unlike the generic wedding photos that are hard to appreciate because they are so predictable. The photos document the event in their own way, and as a result, they make our day feel even more special and unique. Geoff is very creative and artistic and the compositions are clever as well as fun to view. I feel like the event is happening when I look through the photos rather than faintly echoing a moment that is in the past. On top of that, after we received our photos, we were able to share them with our grandparents who were unable to attend, and I cannot express just how much they appreciated the pictures. I remember telling Geoff when we booked his services that I only expected to have the few photos that encapsulate the day....The collection that he gave us has surpassed all of our expectations as so many pictures capture so well the spontaneous moments throughout the night. The only issue that we have is deciding which pictures to frame in our house, as there are so many that are worthy of printing and hanging.

This photographer came highly recommended and I can see why!! He made us feel incredibly comfortable. My new husband and I are both very awkward and camera shy and he made us feel so calm and relaxed and it really shows in the pictures. I rarely like photos of myself but Geoff Johnson took a number of photos I was more than willing to share on social media, which is incredibly rare. Book him!!! Now! I remember hardly anything from our special night. But thanks to Geoff I have amazing photos to prove it happened. Yay!!

We had an intimate wedding in Savannah that I planned from out of town and he was super easy to work with and responsive.
He had a lot of great ideas which was good because I may one of the few brides who hadn't been planning their since they were a kid. But Geoff was also very interested in who we are and what we wanted. And what we wanted was a beautiful documentation of our day. I didn't want to be shouted at and told to act like I'm having fun to make a picture (that actually happened to me as a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding). We did do lots of fun portraits with family but mostly Geoff caught us being ourselves and actually having fun. Imagine that!
We received so many fantastic photos that completely captured exactly what we wanted. And I have received so many compliments on our photos.
I would highly recommend Geoff for any special occasion.
