Gene's Limo almost ruined an otherwise perfect and beautiful wedding! I contracted 2 buses to shuttle guests from the hotel to the church and back and a limo for the bride. I provided via fax a detailed written schedule for each bus including specific instructions which I verbally reviewed with them over the phone. I thought everything was set, but for some reason, on the day of the wedding, Gene's limo arbitrarily decided to send 2 limos and one bus to shuttle 150 guests and wedding party! Fortunately the wedding coordinator at the Tidewater Inn handled the situation and made sure that there were 2 buses at the church at the end of the ceremony. Not only did they not provide the vehicles that were contracted, but they didn't shuttle as well! I had guests walking to the church!! The drivers just stood around talking to each other outside the church in stead of going back in forth between venues which I had specifically requested .
I understand that things go wrong sometimes (like illness or natural disasters), but this is part of an event that is supposed to be worry free and controllable. Not the case with Gene's limo. I have called twice since the wedding to get an explanation for why they did not fulfill their contractual obligation (which had been pre-paid in full). I was promised that the owner would call me, but it has been over 2 weeks now and not one word of apology or compensatory effort made. Incredibly BAD customer service.
I will not use them again either corporately or personally and I recommend that you look elsewhere for transportation.
