David and his wife Brandy were amazing and SO much fun to work with. David did my brother's engagement and wedding pictures 7 years before my wedding. When I saw their pictures and after working with David at my brother's wedding, I knew he was the man for the job.

My husband and I had a very quick engagement due to a sudden cancer diagnosis of my father. My husband and I planned to get "Save the Date" photos done before we were actually engaged because we wanted to get married in a little over 3 short months on father's day. My husband surprised me by proposing at our save the date photos. But he had a specific time, an exact minute, he wanted to propose at. David watched the clock while shooting our pictures and re-positioned us exactly where my husband wanted us at the exact time (there was a clock in the back ground - so it was pretty important he got the time right. It was at pi time on pi day).

David, a father of 5, also spent all of father's day with us to shoot our wedding. He did a phenomenal job and the pictures are breath taking!

When my father died 5 months later, we contacted him for help getting a picture of my dad blown up to a 20x30 size. It was my dad's favorite picture of him so naturally we wanted that one displayed of him at his memorial service. David had that image ready for us in a matter of hours after we contacted him that afternoon.

While David is a very talented photographer, it was/has been such a hassle to work with him. I love all of the images he got from both our engagement and wedding. However, the amount of time it has taken to receive anything we paid for is ridiculous. We just got our disk of images from the wedding at an apologetic 6 month shoot of our son (2.5 years later) He said those pictures would be posted 4 days later...it's been 12. I've emailed him with no response yet again. However, surprise, he was able to shoot 4 days worth of footage, 2800 pictures, and get them to that client in 8 hours according to his Facebook page. Getting our albums took months and months of emailing with very delayed responses. So, I would think twice before hiring him. It's like pulling teeth. There are plenty of photographers in the Denver area that will make you a priority and not treat you like a nuisance.
