Fringe Salon and Donna were fabulous! A friend who gets her hair done there recommended them to me for bridal hair/makeup. Who know such a high quality, trendy, friendly salon existed in Maplewood?!? Obviously not me!
During both my trial and wedding appointments I was offered a wonderfully comforting cup of herbal tea and given a relaxing aromatherapy treatment. They use Aveda products which have incredible scents. Donna was friendly and receptive. I showed her a few pictures of what I thought I wanted and off she went. The make up was fantastic. I looked like me, just better. I wanted a more dramatic look though. So Donna made a few adjustments. Wow! I looked good. lol I thought I wanted a messy bun, but my fitted glamorous dress required a more made up do. Donna took an incredibly amount of time and care with each curl, individually pinning them up. Again, she asked me what I thought and she made adjustments loosening a few curls to frame my face. It was beautiful. If I could afford it I would get my hair/makeup done at Fringe for every special occasion, holiday, interview, etc. Alas, all I can do is try and convince you to go there for your hair/makeup needs. Go! I plan on going back for a haircut, so I expect to see you there!
PS I didn't expect to spend as much as I did on hair and makeup, but in the end it was worth it. Apparently bridal hair/makeup trials and appointments run between $150-$400 depending on what you want.

Donna, from Fringe Salon, came to my house to do my bridal hair and to style the hair of three family members. Donna is great! She is so sweet and so talented. Her updos are very creative and beautiful. I would highly recommend her.
