Ben Finch was the perfect photographer for our wedding. He is a kind and personable person who is easy to work with and extremely talented at what he does. Ben has a great eye for composition and a sense for finding great moments as they are happening. He knows where to be and what’s worth capturing. We wanted wedding photos that felt editorial and natural, rather than traditionally posed wedding photography, and Ben did a wonderful job of delivering on that vision. He is both creatively and technically skilled behind the camera with an ability to adapt to various settings across a weekend or wedding day. We appreciate his attention to detail in delivering artistic-forward compositions and shots that clearly understood and honored our desire for wedding photos that felt timeless, artistic, and most importantly felt like ‘us’.

Ben went above and beyond to take the best photos without making anyone uncomfortable or ever leaving us feeling like he was forcing an idea upon us. Ben became quick friends with our family and guests creating a comfortable atmosphere while taking portraits and throughout the rest of the evening. He took gorgeous shots (posed and candid) throughout the day and evening that have now become heirlooms for our family and future family. Ben has a great eye, is a wonderful person, and delivers for his clients. We’re grateful to have worked with him and to receive the breadth of photos that we did. Ben Finch is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but he also an incredibly great guy. He and his assistants are professional and talented, and will always take advantage of a good photo op (Ex: In great joy, my husband threw his hands in the air, and then lost his ring in the field the farm. We have pictures of guests frantically searching, and then the beautiful, specific instance of it actually being found.) When you get your photos back be prepared to laugh, cry (in happiness and sentiment), and experience the beauty of your wedding all over again.

We hired the associate photographers, Alan and Jenn Brock, of Ben Finch Photography. Jenn was unable to make it to the wedding due to recent newborn twins, but Tommy was sent in her place. We could not have been more thrilled with the services they provided! The guys were super professional and kind, not to mention insanely talented! They dealt with our rainy wedding day weather, came prepared, and managed to capture some of the most beautiful images of my family and friends that I have ever seen. They were always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had, and the pictures were completed in a timely manner. I HIGHLY recommend them for anyone's wedding day! They were great!
